I really hope so. I find per person/card/household a bit confusing!!

Stargreen cancelled ALL my tickets once when I purchased 2 tix for 3 nights of one tour !! I wasn't happy to say the least, especially as it wasn't made clear on their booking pages ! They wouldn't budge though

Oh god, will that happen to us with seetickets? They are not all in my name though. Maybe I should voluntarily phone up and cancel the duplicate tickets? But if we do then they may cancel all of them. I wish the website had a block on orders above the maximum per household as I did not realise.

I am panicking so much now.

I'm sorry kitty123, I truly wasn't intending on causing you grief ! I was trying to warn others that cancellations do happen. I think though foxyuk has more experience with SeeTickets than I do, plus you've spoken to them yourself, so I think you should be safe with at least one of your orders. I'd even call them again on Monday and ask if you can transfer payment to your friends card ?

I already asked them that but it isn't possible to transfer onto another card. Thanks for trying to set my mind at rest though.

There seem to be a few people who have had bad experiences with seetickets which is why I am panicking.

I have warned my friends and they are surprisingly understanding.

Is anyone else in this position or am I the only idiot who didn't realise the total was per household when I booked?
  • I booked my tickets by 9.45am on friday - yay! Got confirmation email - yay!

Credit card queried the amount 5 minuites after booked and after 5 calls to india customer services, they will authorise it but wont phone it through as authorised cos its not "their Policy". Right cos cos i can find a tel number for london ticket shop really easily cant i at 9pm on a friday evening (they are based in Budapest and i cannot find a number anywhere for them and have probably sold my tickets by now anyway).

The result, india customer services dont give a toffee and wont help me get the tickets i wanted to pay for. How dare they query an amount i have paid for on my credit card. Have cancelled card and i wont get to see Take That again! I am devasted and tottaly gutted!

Kitty, don't you dare call yourself an idiot !!!! As I said, I've made the same mistake previously and no doubt many more have !

I really don't think the promoters make this condition of sale clear enough, especially when 99% of the time they allow you to purchase up to 6 or so tickets for each night of other tours ! I think they are so unfair in not calling purchasers to querie any mistakes in credit card bookings before cancelling tickets ! In fairness to Ticketmaster, I did get a lovely CS guy call me to say that I'd overbooked on some festival tickets and would have to have the second batch of tickets cancelled. Why can't all ticket promoters be so fair ?!? Probably because it makes no odds to them, the tickets will be re-sold and they've made their money at the end of the day !

my daughter rang to say something was on itn news regarding all tickets that
are on ebay not being honoured, can't see anything on the web site so would be worth watching later this evening.
see tickets - when I ordered mine it showed max 6 but that was per concert
I did'nt see anything regarding per tour. I have read the t&c and I can't see
anything on they that states per tour.
I would have thought if they decide to cancel the tickets we can get in touch with trading standards regarding contract being entered into.
For the moment I don't think anybody should be worrying since we rang see tickets and were told it was per concert.
I think the only people that should be worried are the ones that have them for
    sale on ebay.

    Aw, thanks you're so kind.

I think I am so worried because last tour I couldn't get tickets. Obviuosly I was extatic to get some this time and then to find my husband had got some whilst at work was unbelievable! Therefore I couldn't imagine my devastation if they all get cancelled (nor my husband who thinks I'm overreacting over this!)

Until I know or definite I will not rest. I don't understand what it means by "cancel the order" in their terms:

"If a customer orders more tickets than the maximum allowed, as indicated during the booking process, we reserve the right to cancel the order. The maximum applies per person/card/household."

My shoulders and neck are hurting I am so stressed out!!
