Looks like there will be a few of us there Monday, well done guys
  • Just a quick message to the people already working, if i was to start work on the Monday the 1st when I get my first weeks wage?
  • She told me that aswell lucky. But she also said to look at it as though your getting your foot in the door. Just hope it pays off
  • I seriosuly think they're doing this because of the people that have been trained then just leaving and wasting time and money on them.
  • I don't think that's the case Lucky. Why wouldn't they just put you on a job at castle Bromwich? Then they could take you off for your training
  • Maybe they are actually just filling a few places while they can, and I suppose when they start to take more people on, the lot who are working at landrover would get first refusal...

Its because land rover can not produce enough cars at the minute they build 300+ they are on 3 shifts and are moving to 4 and some parts will be on 5 shifts overtime on sat and sun is 8hrs if you think the graft in the jag is hard land rover is on another level

And if you are at land rover and your 6 weeks contract ends and there are spaces at jaguar they will move you there before any new starters

This is correct, the sweat dripping off some people is unbelievable. Me included and I think of myself as fairly fit.

drakie....in reply to your question make sure you fill in all the health questionaires before you start the induction as its essential. AND remember to take them with you on your first day along with other essential info like bank details etc for payroll.

The pera diversity hand book ...it would help if you fill it in but they go through that 1 of the days during your training ...but if you were asked to do it...then do as much as you can. I didnt do mine to be honest and did it in the class room. You end up filling out/copying it into another booklet anyway so it can be done at that stage and you can discuss your answers with each other.
