All the people that have started, I remember the guy telling me to fill out the paper work for when we start, does that include all the pera workbooks too?

She said on the phone that Castle Bromwich aren't taking on till after xmas now so they're putting people on cover shifts till then until they can get start dates for the people that will have jobs.

I don't know how much use this is to anyone, I was hopign for the propper induction and serious start job. I'm not sure if they're doing this because of people walking out of the job and they're sick of wasting the time training. I know as much as everyone here.

Do you have previous experience in the automotive assembly trade etc? Just curious as you're only getting 1 day induction?

But didn't someone earlier just say that 15th October was a defo start date ? .... I might ring them today and see what's happening ? Anyone else got a call like this?

Did you ring them? what did they say?, I'm totally gutted that there not gonna take anyone on till after Christmas!

I don't have any experience, tbh I felt like I had to say yes as I want the job and thought saying no would effect me getting it, I will be calling them if I people on here start getting start dates while im doing this "cover shift".

Just had a phone call, i start Monday at Land Rover Solihull :j:j:beer::rotfl::T

As mention by Lucky, 6 weeks cover for now which is fine as its 6 weeks money and hopefully leads to permanent.

Hey, I think its so we actually stay with them and dont take other jobs, also for them to get to try before they buy I guess.
