you need to be positive and clear with your answers.it is not very pressured usual questions about situations you have been in in the past.its hit and miss if you get passed I failed my interview even though I was clear and took 10 minutes longer than anyone else was told when I called for feedback as to why I failed was told I didn't answer questions fully enough and was shy.even though the interviewer filled my sheet plus had to write down the sides and I took longer than anyone else and am far from shy but there we go.someone I know had same person interview them they are shy, quiet and failed to answer 2 questions so you see what I mean by hit and miss, hopefully you will be in first batch if interviews as that's where my m8 was and I was on the last day.enough said.good luck be positive.0

As far as I’m aware, both manual assessments and interviews take place at Castle Vale – for both Solihull and Castle Bromwich plants. All the current intake of operatives are being offered places at Solihull – like I have and all of my friends, even though we did say our preferred option was Castle Bromwich. So more than likely, Solihull is where you’ll end up. The base pay is £11.250 -

You have to park at the Airport carpark that is allocated to JLR, it is the last roundabout at the airport before you come to departures & arrivals.might be a good idea to do a dummy run to familiarize yourself. The shuttle bus service to the plant starts 45mins before each shift and they leave every 5 mins.
Trust me, I've been at solihull for nearly 6 months now and the single worst thing about the job is the airport car parking and bus shuttle service. I live 15 mins away from JLR but it has taken me 3 hours to get home on a few occasions. Not only are manpower forced to park there, but DHL, voith, drax are all there too. To get on a bus you need to arrive an hour before your shift starts otherwise it's just carnage trying to get on one. Worse still is when you're on nights, you're trying to get back to and out of the car park, 2 lanes in and 2 lanes out and all the day shift are trying to get in, there are thousands of us trying to get in and out and with more new starters and no sign of being able to use the JLR multi stories anywhere in the future the airport car parking and bus crap is the one thing that could make me quit. You feel like you're being herded in and out like cattle0 -

How does parking work for motorbikes? I don't drive a car only a bike so was wondering where I'd go. Perhaps it's just easier getting a bus there; then again I don't really wanna be a bus wa*ker. Lol0 -
Motorbikes can park on site0

Iv done the online application and still waiting to hear back, I don't drive and will be using buses to get to get to land rover. As I don't live far from the airport I was wondering if any one can use the shuttle bus or is it only available to the people that drive An use the car park at the airport ?
Iv seen people people say that they working a 4 shift pattern and others only doing a 3 shift pattern do you get the choice of this or do they tell you which one you have to do?
An are JRL still taking people on permanent contract once you been with manpower for a couple of years?0 -
T5 may be on 4 shift now but FA2 is only 2 shift until next February and then we go 3 shift apparently.
Anyone can use the shuttle bus from the airport, you don't have to park a car there0
