Nothing much, it’s just filling in some forms and providing the information they have requested. After that the interview will get underway and after the drug test you’ll be finished.

They are basic numeracy and literacy assessments used by Pera (the training provider) to see if anybody needs any additional support during the training programme.

AFAIA they are not used as part of the recruitment process.

They are not tests but assessments purely to ascertain your level of numeracy and literacy/education, so extra support can be given during the Pera training if needed.
  • I rang manpower today and explained I was offered a job in June but couldn't accept it. They have informed me that I will have to go through the process again. The only problem is I am going on holiday on the 30th march till 10th April. I have read that if you have booked holiday hey will not take you on as they need you to take holiday in shutdown. If I apply now would I work out about right that after going through all stages it should take me through mid April or is it better to leave it and couple weeks then apply. Thanks

If I remember correctly from when my other half did it last year he said you get shown how to assemble a break pedal (or it might have been a clutch) then you have to do it under a time limit and you have instructions in front of you to follow, he mentioned something about placing magnets on a car in a certain order as well. At the end you're then asked to give way of improving the exercise. Something like that, I'm sure someone else can be of more help though.

Just out of interest roughly when did you complete the online application/assessment?
