Just had my interview. Hard to gauge how well it went. Definitely not a disaster though so i got a chance, just a waiting game now!

    Fingers crossed mate!

What sort of questions did they ask on the interview?

Hi all im a newbie lol, had my email saying ive ' we are pleased blah blah completed all stages of the recruitment process' lol on the 16th of jan

Im still waiting to hear off them ive phoned but they told me i just need to wait?
Ive left my other job (was leaving regardless) and jut want to get stuck in lol how long should i wait? One of my mates who had the interview a few weeks before me starts on the 10th of feb

From what I've read on this thread, it seems to be just pot luck how long you wait, some people start quickly and others have had to wait, weeks and sometimes months. But you have been successful it's just a matter of time till you get your start date.

    Cheers Kyle.

The questions really are nothing particualrly to worry about, hence why i can't remember any specifically! Nothing to catch you out, just taslking about past epxerience etc.

    Likewise buddy!
  • I you get email saying all parts completed that seems to mean that you are going to be offered a position but who knows how long its hit and miss and when they ring you if you don't answer they ring next on list and you wait till following month.my mate missed a call last week and now gota wait til end of feb for a march start date.
  • Other half successfully completely the online assessment last night, last time he waited around 6 weeks before getting a call to book the manual. How long roughly have people been waiting this time around?

Call Manpower on this number 01912211440 and notify them that you have completed your online assessment and received an email. Then ask to be booked for a manual assessment, they should book you in for next week.

When you do call them, ask to be put through to jaguar/Land Rover and the location you've applied to. This might not be possible all the time, as staff over at JLR are busy and don't always respond to the calls, so Manpower may get someone to call you back. i would personally just call them every hour to get yourself booked - you can use this same approach for your interview too.
  • After having an interview on 16th of Jan I received no phone call or email, today I had a call offering me a position!! Had almost given up hope. Start date is Monday!!
