manual assessment at Jag/Land Rover

Had my manual assessment on the 8th, got an email saying i passed it on the 9th and not heard since. Just gave Manpower a call and they said i'm on the list and should have had a call for an interview by now but haven't heard anything.

The chap said they will get someone to ring me back. Anyone else been in this position?

Id ring them up i had to ring for my manual and my interview or you will wait for ever.we are all just numbers if you dont chase them someone will and good luck

Yeah will do. No one rang today so i'll be back on the phone tommorow.

I had the interview on Friday, seemed to go well. Was told it could take upto 2 weeks for a reply. I still haven't heard anything but somebody who was interviewed on Friday with me got a phone call Monday offering him the job. Does this mean it's a No for me?

When I called I first called manpower then they redirected me to this number '0191 221 1440' I did my online assessment in November, my manual assessment on the 11th of December and had my interview on the 16th. I didn't find out I had the job until last Wednesday so that is a rough time scale of how long the process is.

you are best to chase them its so hit and miss.i was told they are busy after my interview and would take 5 working days and got email the next day saying sorry unsuccessful.they seem to interview in 2 or 3 week batches so you may have to wait I was the last day of the batch so think they reached the amount they needed for that month.

Just had the call got my interview on the 28th Jan!

The 2 personal references can be ANYONE who isn't a relative or employer?

I got a typed one from my Uni tutor but wondering who to go for the other one.

Hi Gaz, just thought I'd let you know when I went for my interview I did take proof of my last 2 years of employment and education history, personal referees and even brought along my mothers birth certificate to prove her maiden name.

They didn't ask me for any of these, but the first thing I had to do was fill out some paperwork about 5 sheets and it asks you for that information in some of the sheets.

And also make sure you take the right things to prove your right to work in the UK as these are the only things they asked for from me.
