manual assessment at Jag/Land Rover

Failed my 2nd manual on Tuesday, and just felt so gutted didnt even want to think about it. First manual I got stuck on the pedal and didnt finish the test, this time I think in the back of my mind i didnt want to get stuck on the brake pedal and as a result i panicked and rushed the test, and i actually finished with time to spare! But amid the panic i didnt completely tighten the bolts on the brake pedal and so it was left loose. I thought the assessor might have let me get away with it, as when i asked another assessor outside if leaving the bolts loose means fail he said no as long as you do it in the right order!
Can anyone tell me who did the brake assesmbly, when tightening the bolts on the brake pedal, was i supposed to keep the brake pedal pushed back into the servo whilst screwing the bolts? I did that at first and the yellow jig fell out so i panicked even more. Its all a blur now but for some reason the bolts wouldnt screw on properly when i was using my fingers.0 -

Who knows? As long as you've done everything up to the point that youd completed and not miles away then I'm sure you'll be ok. Best of luck.0 -
Not sure if I was in your group Joel I was in at 3 o'clock but I done mine today and I didn't finish mine but thought I answered ok I was almost certain you had to finish to be in with a shout though? Only time will tell as everyone seems to keep saying jags mission statement should be "fingers crossed"0

Hi really nobody with news from wolverhampton??????
Anybody who joins manpower from the 1st January must complete 5 years with them going up through to 100% pay in the process before they get offered a full time contract ...
This is due to the company wanting 90% core heads and 10% agency flexible. So take that as you will ... When a core head leaves due to natural progression an agency worker will be offered a perm contract.
Lucky I'm due my STC in a few weeks. It's flown by, I believe the engine plant will be on 3 shift by the end of the year and the pay on that is about £13.70 an hour ? 36 hours a week ... 6-1.30, 1.30-9.00 , 9.00-6.000 -
Everybody who wants to know about the EMC, I had my interview just before xmas. I was told that the pay will be 22k for 1 year on permanent days, then you will be put on to either a 2 shift or 3 shift rotation. The contract will be temporary ongoing for the first year and then depending on business you may get full contract with additional pay increase. With regards to start dates I got answer message on Friday evening about a potential start date. Don't know if I want to take it, I got permanent job closer to home, emc is 22 miles away from me! Hope this information helps.0
