  • Hi everyone,

I've just done my online assessment and I've received this email...

Thank you for completing the online assessment stage of your application to work for Manpower at Jaguar Land Rover West Midlands. We really appreciate the time you have put into your application, and hope you enjoyed completing the assessments.
Please be aware that we have had a high volume of applicants, however you will receive an email detailing the next stages in due course.
    Kind Regards
    Manpower @ Jaguar Land Rover

What does that mean? Have I passed my online assessment?
    Thanks guys:)

I'd say yes, the email my OH received was very different to that one. It said he'd been unsuccessful and the application won't be taken further. No mention of the next stage or anything, congratulations!

Sorry to hear that, dont know if it will work, but you could try applying again using a different email address?

We have thought about it, we are moving house in a few days so he was thinking of applying again using a different email and putting our new address on the application, although it's a bit sneaky... maybe they won't pick up on it? He logged into the account he used to apply last time and said he gave the same answers as he did last time :s so maybe something it was his overall application that didn't meet the criteria rather than the assessment itself. He didn't have to fill in as much as last time so they must have saved his details etc on the account unless they've changed the form or something. Although if he fails it again he'll just have to suck it up and wait a while.
  • Thank you twister17 you've put my mind at ease :) now I just gotta wait for reply from manpower to set an manual assessment. Do you know long do they take to get back to you? Oh and another thing u said your other half failed his online assessment.. Tell him don't worry just apply again using a different user name that's what my mate did and he passed second time round using the same home address and email address just his user name was different.

No problem. When my oh applied last year (around August/September time I think it was), it took 6 weeks for him to get a phone call for the manual assessment, he'd just about given up hope. But reading this thread it does tend to vary, some people hear back quite quickly.
  • Hello everyone I've had the interview on Tuesday received a email this morning what do u think my chances r talking to manpower staff she said we r interviewing around 300 a month only offering jobs to about 30 a month the questions they asked were not really irrelevant to the job ps I'm currently working for car plant as assembler in other city hoping to move to burm if I get the job.
Thank you for attending your recent interview with Manpower for our vacancies within Jaguar Land Rover West Midlands .

We are very pleased to inform you that you have completed all stages of the recruitment process.

All offers will also be subject to satisfactory checks.

We appreciate your patience during this time.
  • Sounds good, you've passed all stages by the sound of it. My oh got an email the next day after his first interview baiscally saying he didn't get the job. I guess now you'll just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed!

Did my manual assessment today, and completed it with time to spare. However im worried I might have made mistake, when screwing the bolts onto the brake pedal, the bolts were NOT completely tight, and so the brake pedal was a bit loose, could this mean ive failed?
Hi is the manual assessment the same as before. My son did one in November and is thinking of reapplying
