How long after the interview should I expect to be called?
I did well on both my online & manual assessments which I think is the reason I got thru as my face to face I feel only went ok.
I got a call the next day with a start date, my whole process went thru very quick, from online test to job offer about 3 weeks0 -
Okay well hopefully everything goes well for me Tuesday & I'll be in.
I'm applying at Solihull, you?0 -
Also other than my 1 to 1, what else happens on Tuesday? Because been told to expect 3 hours0

Yeah Solihull too. It'll take about 1 and half hours on the day. First you go into a room. Show your id & proof of address etc, then fill out paperwork, after that you go into a room for your interview and then the drug test. Your free to go after that0 -

1) what high expectations have you had to overcome or deliver in the workplace
2) have you worked with people from different backgrounds? How did you cope
3) how would you react if you moved from your current job which you have been on for a period of time & moved to another?
4) how did you build a relationship with a team member from a different background?
5) what are your work experience/skills?
6) standard process- time constraints how have you coped?
7) team working examples
8) have you challenged a process, could you do it better or different?
9) flexibility o/t shift changes, staying over at short notice
10) shift work experience
All answers have to have a beginning, middle and end. Sounds abit daunting but it isn't too bad.
Also being a team player & flexible to do overtime when needed is a big thing so use that a lot in ur answers
Good advice offered there from diamond, and spot on with the list of questions!! Go in with the attitude that you can work alongside anyone, you have no problems with shift work, and you are a team player!0 -
Thanks for the advice everybody. Is it hard to fail on the interview?
Also is it formal dress code, shirt, trousers, shoes etc..?0 -

Me and most of the other blokes with me were in full suits (sounds a bit OTT for a factory job, I know :rotfl: but it didn't do us any harm).
Good luck.0 -
Hey
Anyone can tell me anything more about manual assessment. I took it three months ago and I wanna know if they've changed anything.
Cheers0 -

Same here, I took mine 3 months ago and failed miserably. Was a nervous wreck going into it this time but was really easy 2nd time round. It's the same as b4 but I'm sure on my first manual, when putting the cushion into the vehicle you sit facing the front, take it out then sit facing the back. This time it was rear facing both times0
