whooo!! after re-applying after three months i got put straight through to the face to face! im going to make sure i don't f up this time. has anyone got through on their second time round? also can any remember the questions in the interview? if so can you pm them for me please?

Had my assesment yesterday and I failed, got the email today. I made the most stupidest mistake during the brake assesmbly which ate up all the time. Basically whilst assembling the break pedal I idiotically placed some of the bolts the wrong way around. Im no expert at DIY but i was so angry at myself when i realised.
One thing I would like to ask others who have done the assessment in the past is were both the magnet and assembly assessment done at the same time or one after the other. I was under the impression that i would do one first and then to do the other? Mine was both together and 8 minutes in total and the time literally flew by.
I messed my assessment up in May. I went online the next day and started the online assessment again but only did the 1st test and left it at that (there are 2 sections). 3 months to the day after failing, manpower sent me an e-mail to say that they can "see you have started the online assessment and you have 14 days to complete if you wish to pursue your application".. i finished the second part of the online test and had a phone call the next day to go in for the manual again. This time i knew exactly what to do and passed it second time round. Again i had a call the next day for a face to face interview! i passed it and they called me the next day to offer me a start date. Just finished my first week today and im loving it! Re-apply mate.. it worked for me and the whole process for me from online assessment to offer of a start took 23 days! Good luck.0 -

I have heard that people can re apply after a few months, not sure how long but might be worth asking
Jnr88, read my reply to Adam7861.. go online and re-apply, but only do the first section of the assessment..0 -
So I passed my manual assessment and now I'm booked in for an interview on Tuesday.
I really want to prepare myself so I can speak/present myself confidently.
Just wondered if anybody could inform me of the questions going to be asked? And also what research would be beneficial for me to do beforehand.
All help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks.0 -
Hi, got the call with a start date yesterday
Does anyone know what the hourly pay is if on the 3 rotating shifts? Thanks0 -
Beginning, middle, end? How do you mean?
Also would it be beneficial to do company research, incase they ask what I know etc?.
Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it.0 -
Beginning: what was the situationBeginning, middle, end? How do you mean?
Also would it be beneficial to do company research, incase they ask what I know etc?.
Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it.
Middle: what did you do / what were ur actions
End: what was the outcome? Good or bad?
The way it's put down here makes it seem a lot more complicated than it actually is in the interview. I researched them all, wrote down long winded answers and tried to memorise the lot. When it come down to the interview all she wrote down was a couple of sentences of what I said to her. It's quite straight forward & a lot of the questions are very similar but worded differently and link in to each other. I ended up basically repeating answers I'd already said. Some are slightly different from the ones I've posted but still along those lines. As long as u seem friendly, aren't cocky & act confident but not arrogant youre half way there. Just remember to mention that you work well as a team a lot! Lol. Good luck

By the way, they also take into account how well you did on your previous 2 assessments, so if you did really well on the online & manual but just ok in the face to face you could still be successful as it's how well you did overall0

Thank you for replying,
I got told I scored highly on the last 2 stages so hopefully that will work in my favour.
Just gonna use your advice & try to prepare answers that way I'll be more confident.0 -
