Mine got cancelled aswell after building myself up for tomorrow. Never mind role on next week. Thanks for all the info & help people have put on here it's very much appreciated & has been really helpful. Would be nice if we all got the job especially as we have passed the section working with others in a team by helping one another on here.

Wish i had applied much later now as i did the test last Wednesday when the news broke and was phoned up the same day for the manual assessments on the Mon the 30th July.

Wish i had applied later and found this forum first as it would have prepared me a little.

On the online assessments you take at jag, my tests i had were very similar but not the same, some were the same but most was just very similar questions.
Oh take a coat with you as the computer room is a good walk and we got drenched when the heavens opened.

I can honestly say i have never been through so many test and assessments before i have worked in the automotive industry since leaving school give or take a couple of years so assembly and production are second nature to me and before the economic crash i was building my way up the ladder from production operative to team leader to supervisor and have never been tested so stringently i mean at the end of the day the job you will be doing will be on the production line all be it a very well paid production job i bet most of us with experience have never encountered this before i find it all a little long winded

You think they would ask for experience wouldnt you as i would say 99% of the jobs out there require it or at least qualifications.

For me going back into the car assembly is a backwards step as I was at longbridge for 15 years untill it went bust and I retrained in computers and networks but now this work is offering poor pay now due to the recession.
