Who was your interviewer?
I got an e-mail saying I passed all stages but they never said anything about another assessment. The day I went in however, we were supposed to do this extra training after the drugs test, but the people who were meant to cover that weren't in, so they said we'll do it at during the first week. No idea what this training actually involves. could be the same as the assessment you are talking about
I got my interview on the 26th of March so I am not sure. Just chasing up my references from the past 2 years of my work history.

Plus I've read a few posts on this thread saying they've got the job but only if they can make it tomorrow, or within a couple of hours. I think I read 1 poster saying he had to get there within an hour. Kinda ridiculous really
I would guess that most (if not all) 'crappy minimum wage' jobs would only require 1 weeks notice at most. (Obviously you would have to check the contract.)
Unfortunately these are the sort of decisions that we all have to make from time to time. We just have to hope and pray that we make the right one. Good luck.0 -
Just got off the phone with Manpower..
I've got my interview on 3rd April..! I've had to chase them for it though.. They were supposed to call me back a couple of times but didn't..
As for giving notice at my current job, I have to give one MONTH! So I'll have to have a word with them at the interview and see what they say..It's all in the small print0 -
Just had my call, start Tuesday April 2nd 7am @Solihull, I have been chasing everyday since my interview Jan 29th.

There is still hope for us then!!! Hope it goes well for you and congratulations
My advice is to call manpower at Solihull on 0121 700 4206 and put them on the spot and say you've heard about start dates from April and tell them you either have a wks notice period or no notice period.0 -
