Kiddlypeeps - Just out of curiosity did the number end 3984? I recieved a missed call on Friday 22nd but had no credit to call back, now I'm worried that I missed my opportunity!0 -

had a call on friday at 4 o'clock from a number ending 3894 mate, i start the 2nd april, its only took me a year:beer:. try calling it back, good luck0 -
Now what i don't get is, having passed the online assessment, having passed the manual assessment (completed both tests correctly within the tie limits) having passed the interview - to receiving the pat on the back email confirming i have successfully completed all stages.
I don't see how we can get to this:
"Dear candidate
Further to our previous e-mails we wanted to update you on your status in the recruitment programme for Jaguar Land Rover West Midlands.
As you are aware you have completed all stages of the recruitment process.
Due to the overwhelming success of our applicants the vacancies for this campaign are now filled. However we are waiting for confirmation of our next opportunities and will keep you informed.
We appreciate your patience during this time.
Manpower Team"
I've passed everything they've put in front of me, yet it seems i've basically applied for a job that doesn't exist. Now more to the point, i've been told there's no positions, so obviously manpower know there are no positions so why are they still interviewing?! Think it's a case of falsely getting peoples hopes up...
While i still "hope" something comes of being on the books, i'm questioning whether i'ld really want to work for an agency so backward.
Best of luck to those going for interviews, try to prepare around 10 competency based questions for the interview, mainly relating to teamwork, reliability, flexibility and ingenuity.
As they say, it matters not, how impressive the situation was - just what effect you had on it.
Had that too mate, gave up after doing the full process twice and then a phone call and job offer on friday. keep plugging away at it mate, good luck0 -
