Very well thank you, I've always been active and had active jobs, It's the way I like to be, so it suits me down to the ground. The jobs are busy and the day goes fast. As long as you just do your job well and you turn up on time, you'll be left alone.0

Nice to hear. Glad it is going well for you. Hopefully we will be as lucky as you and they will take some more on.0

Hi guys!
What is going on at the moment then? Seem's a bit strange as I have been given an interview tomorrow but it looks like all the jobs have been filled.
Any advice would be great regarding what's going on and the final stage interview!0 -
I completed the online assessment stage on 24/09/2012 and received an email saying 'Due to the overwhelming response the next phase in the process is currently on hold. As soon as we have confirmation of when the programme is re-opening we will contact you.'
I then received an email (with about 100 other email addresses) from manpower on 02/01/2013 saying that they had tried to contact me but were unsuccessful and they would like to invite me to a manual assessment, along with a contact number.
I phoned the number and booked a manual assessment for the 09/01/2013. Attended and completed both tasks (Brake peddle assembly and magnet placement test) within the allocated times, also completed the online assessment again.
The following day (10/01/2013) i received a call from a manpower employee inviting me for a interview, which was on the 14/01/2013 at 08:30. I attended the interview.
The following day i received this email
'Thank you for attending your recent interview with Manpower for our vacancies within Jaguar Land Rover Castle Bromwich.
We are very pleased to inform you that you have successfully completed all stages of the recruitment process.
As you can imagine, we have a high volume of candidates interested in our JLR vacancies.
Therefore we will be looking at your overall performance throughout the process and will contact you to inform you if you have been successful in securing a position.
We appreciate your patience during this time.
Best Wishes
Manpower @ Jaguar Land Rover
Haven't heard anything since, iv'e phoned manpower, the woman on the phone said that they have stopped recruiting for Castle Bromwich and are waiting on start dates for Soulihull.
So unsure how long the wait will be at the moment, which is a bit frustrating.
Hope this helps, also thanks to all that have posted in this thread.0 -

Hi, that's exactly the same as what happened to me but I've been advised to be patient for a start date basically.
They are hoping to open more positions. So I guess everyone else who was successful will get a start date (hopefully)0 -
I sincerely hope so!!0

You would hope so. If there are no jobs then why would they still be interviewing this week?0
