manual assessment at Jag/Land Rover

Hi all,

I'm at the waiting for interview stage and after I've just phoned manpower I was told that JLR had informed them that ALL positions would be filled by applicants that had completed all stages of assessment/interview....

Anyone else who like me, that had passed the online and manual assessment but not had interview yet WOULD NOT be getting any further unless more positions became available.....

I then received this info by email, by the look if it they are sending these emails today in alphabetical order because my email was tagged to about 50 other applicants names.....

It's a good job I'm currently employed and was just interested in what was on offer.........

dress smart (shirt tie etc)be ready for questions the questions cant tell you though as it would be unfair to others.
reseach interview questions on the net write down your answers and revise em!

I rang Manpower at LandRover this afternoon and the lady told me they had filled most of the 800 positions, so those of us who have passed all stages may have to wait quite a long time for a start date

What phone number did you use??? I had my interview last Wednesday and kinda expected a response within 48 hours... I called the 01912211440 number this morning only to be told they don't know the results from the interviews and they don't have the number for jaguar landrover, who are supposed to be making contact. I just want to know the result!

I got my email today saying that I was successfull through all the stages but I still have to wait!.Has anyone got an idea as to what happens now?

I called Manpower today to ask them about the result of my interview which was almost one month ago and i was told that the decision will be taken this week and i will receive an email with the result. But i was spoken like i disturbed them,not too many details just two-three words...
I don't know what to think about that,,,i just want to know the result to know what i have to do further...

had my interview, and had an email saying you have completed all stages a position will be dependant on my overall score..

Hi all again,

After my phone call to manpower yesterday where I was told that even though I'd passed the online and manual assessments, they were going to fill all positions with people that had passed all stages of assessment and interview stages.......

I received and email within half an hour of my phone call stating the above attached to about 200 other names and emails.

Even more baffling is the fact that I have just received an email to state, that because I'd passed the online and manual assessments I would still be offered an interview within the next 2 months for any positions that might come up if I still was interested ?????

Why all the hanging around and not knowing what is REALLY going on....
