  • Hi, I did my manual assessment on 25th jan, had an email a week later and had the call this morning for final interview on Tuesday next week. Hope that helps anyone time scale wise.
Anyone know what kind of questions are asked at the final interview? Did mention I'd have to do a drug test.
  • hi i start next week anyone else starting next week
  • Current rates for Manpower

70% for new starters with Manpower, going up to 90% after 1 year (I think it still stands at 90%) when taken on temp JLR contract for 1 year before being taken on full time.

    Is that correct Rich?

I've got my short term coming up soon and always thought it was 80% on short term contract, going upto 90% when taken on a full contract.

    Is it like this...?
    Agency - 1 year - 70% or 80% depending when taken on.
    Short term contract - 1 year - 80%
    Full time - 90%
  • yes dave that is correct its 90% with perma contract
  • Hi.. I thought I'd join in..
I had my manual assesment on 1/2/13 and a week ago had the same email some others have had, stating that I will receive a call detailing the next stage in due course.. I've not heard anything as yet, but after reading some other posts I can see that I may have to wait a while. I'm also hoping that the email was a good sign.
While I'm here, can any of you help me by giving me an idea of the working shifts as I am looking in to child care. Thanks.
It's all in the small print
  • I did my manual assessment on 23/01/2013 and received the 'thank you' email a few days later, still waiting for the call - not sure if it's a good sign or not.
I called Manpower with regards to the rate of pay for new starters and was told it was £11.46?

You were misinformed about the rate of pay , starters on days after January 2013 will be on £10.45 per hour .
