No need to read whole thread post #2 gives you then info, the only added thing is that now you have to re-do the online assessment in a controlled environment to prevent cheating.

Hi had my manual assessment on the 9th aswell missed a call of them today phoned them back but no one was available did you only find out today you have an interview for tomorrow.

I had a call on Friday and had my interview this morning.there were manual assessments being taken today as well.told that it's just a waiting game now.interview is straight forward but drawn out.you have to fill in a load of paperwork, have a one on one interview, then a drugs test, and finally more paperwork and a written numeracy/ literacy test.was there three hours in all.

This isn't actually a test, but an assessment for the Pera Training to see if you might need any extra support during the training, and as far as I know has no bearing on the selection process.
  • hi to all hopefuls I did manual at landrover last feb and failed now got second chance this time at tyseley college for jaguar castle brom has anyone been here ? is it same test as landrover any gen appreciated and if you have been here what is parking like as it said limited in email

Park on the road- ride up and down a bit you'll park ok couple of hundred yards past it.its the magnet and brake assembly test.my advice- calm yourself down, try not to rush it.i completely messed the brake test up at first but re-read instructions on bench and did it a step at a time.the nuts and bolts are all mixed together, so pick the ones you need out before you start, rather than panicking.then align the pedal with the servo remembering to lift up a silver lever at front of brake assembly so that you can feed a spindle through the groove.fit nuts and bolts through top, plastic nut onto spindle, tighten everything up, done!good luck.
  • thanks blue so can t you get on car park at all did you finish brake assembly and are you waiting for your interview good luck
  • oops just read back a bit and you have been for your interview sorry for asking again still good luck

My OH did his online assessment 13/01/13, he received the email stating that he will recieve an email detailing the next stages in due course. Any idea how long he will have to wait.No idea if he passed the online assessment either.
