How to create a website with no monthly costs??

I can see why india provides good value for money in some sences but you do miss out on actual face to face meetings, these can often greatly increase the end result for the client. I am more of a backend person and have developed my own framework so I beleive I can compete by being able to offer alot more for a very low price by being super effecient. However if you can get a design for 200 quid and its half decent you cant really complain about that.

Do you know why there is so much negativity in these forums? ps im not saying your negative Icharm you have made constructive points that can help the op

Some people are just trolls, some are quite obviously trolls and others are indirectly trolling the forums by looking for fights or provoking people without even realising it themselves!

Don't stress too much about it, most people are good on here!

I think its alot to do with people without much skill hating on those who are actually doing or have done stuff in those fields

Icharm you can get results for 3-500 just need to make sure you choose the right developer and depending on features you require prepare to be flexable a good ssl certificate can be that price on its own

A script kiddie could come along and damage your ten year established business!

Wordpress is good but there are a lot of sites using it so the known exploits need patching and other security issues need to be sorted as there is also a lot of people trying to attack these sites. I am honestly trying to help you here steve pointing you to an excellent tool to help you on the way to having a secure site!

what do you mean upstarts like me? I have previously worked on some large projects only in a backend role. Ok found a portfolio on your site under the links heading. Im only being honest steve but if I was a customer I wouldn't be happy paying for the sites you have produced, as you could make something just as good on one of these website creator sites

Just go away Tom. There are no security issues with my site and the customers have been happy. Once you actually sort your own site out then start giving it big.

my site is secure unlike yours! It looks a lot better than yours and when I have finished my work today I am going to sort out the text it just needs uploading? btw my work is pen testing! However mine still looks better than yours has less errors in it and they will be sorted out most are just adding alt to images? Its HTML5 which most ppl are struggling to get it to validate

So how are you protecting against XSS, CSRF, injection attacks, brute force attacks. Thats about it for your site as it is pretty simple, some of those are not an issues with your site but you don't know that. Did you run the tool I recommended? That way you will know are you aware of zero day attacks on wp or its plugins? So are you saying your website is secure? Is it because you think it is or is it cuz you have used tools and you know it is? most your example sites are your own sites for stuff

note to op if you go down the route of using a developer ask them about there security procedures. 3rd party website builder site will also have procedures in place
