Most items are 200g packets, so am going to find the increases hit hard.
cheaper than £2.70?0 -

You could consider a RM account, especially if you're VAT registered. Even with VAT the costs are cheaper for me than going to a post office. I have my mail collected but you can drop account mail off at a post office.bylromarha wrote: »So, with all these increases, apart from bulk buying stamps this week, what alternatives are there to slapping my 10-20 items per day up to the post office?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm really confused. I sell lots of small packets over 100g and currently use a blue large letter stamp. After the Post Office postal increases can I still use these stamps without any additional stamps to make up the cost to the new charge?0

just look on the link
http://c435158.r58.cf3.rackcdn.com/Royal_Mail_Our_Prices.pdf
large letter up to 100g 90p
small packet 0-750g £2.70/£2.20
so if it depends on the size/weight as to where it falls on the large letter price
or into packets
if its a basic large letter,then a large letter stamp suffices0 -
Thank you so much for your reply custardly.
I was just wondering that if I put a current blue large letter stamp on a packet that weighs over 100g after the price increase will it be ok or will I have to add further stamps to make it up to the new cost.0
