I just post at a time that is convenient for me. Usually about 7:10am, on my way to work.
I'm a bit naughty and put all post in the box, rather than take it to the post office box. It's not convenient for me and involves going out of my way.
Frankly, if TNS believe that everyone is doing it exactly by the book, every time, they are deluding themselves.Because it's fun to have money!

And have you kept reviewing the site so, in the following weeks, you could confirm that an expected item had not been received etc,
Thank you, I could have sworn it was only for 2 weeks but could well have been three - they all seem to merge together! I definitely completed all entries and recieved all the things listed. It has only just disapeared from my panel so guess that it won't be long before they get it touch. I wish I'd kept the initial email about it.
I've had another invite for 29th July 2013 until 1st September 2013 which is longer than the normal 3 weeks, would be nice if it was more than a £5 for that length.0 -
Thank you to the royal baby for providing me with some impromptu inspiration today!
At the post office posting our well known favourite 'small box' when the man behind the counter surprised me by asking what was in it. Now I could hardly say 'a foam block, a smart and a bit of paper with an R number on' could I so before I could even think the words 'baby toy' came out of my mouth!0 -
Can anyone tell me what is the maximum number of smarts we can put in a returns envelope at any one time?"...and in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make".0

Mm I have 9 in one envelope...I have another envelope there so perhaps I'll just split them to be on the safe side."...and in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make".0 -
i am sure I have read somewhere that the max number of smarts that can be returned in an envelope is 8...but i think that would be quite a tight squeeze
Ive certainly returned maybe 5 or 6 in an envelope without problemfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

I just send mine back all individually as I have hundreds of smart envelopes. I called during my last 6 months on the panel to see if they wanted all the spares back at the end of my time. However, I was just told to keep them. It would be much easier if they did not send them at all and if we had smarts to be return we just order an envelope on the system to be included in the brown envelope that week. Most weeks I don't have any to return.0 -

Here's the answer from the website regarding surplus envelopes...although I think this may even be slightly out of date as they dont routinely send out standard return envelopes any more!!
I have just finished a 6 month stint and sent a wad of smart envelopes back in a smart envelope...so lets hope they are reusing them....
I have too much survey stationery – how do I stop it being sent?
Unfortunately, our processes do not allow us to prevent stationery from being sent to individual panellists. If you have a surplus, please return it to us, free-of-charge, by sending it back in one of our Standard Return Envelopes. We will be happy to re-use it.

You should find that it is actually 3 weeks of actual receipts and 2 weeks of availability to report late arrivals etc. So only 3 proper weeks for the £5 voucher.
I completed one recently which gave the 5-week period in the original notification/invitation but provided only 3 weeks for data entry.0
