I have just finished a 6 month stint and sent a wad of smart envelopes back in a smart envelope...so lets hope they are reusing them....

I sent a couple of envelopes packed with Smart return envelopes when I ended my last proper stint about a year ago.
Given that they have to be folded to be put in the Smart return envelope, we ought to be able to spot those which have travelled!0 -

ok...so todays "just for fun" challenge could be...how many smarts can you fit into a smart return envelope and still be able to seal it......!!!!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
I myself just went and posted seven Smarts back all in the same envelope.0

Here's the answer from the website regarding surplus envelopes...although I think this may even be slightly out of date as they dont routinely send out standard return envelopes any more!!

I have too much survey stationery – how do I stop it being sent?
Unfortunately, our processes do not allow us to prevent stationery from being sent to individual panellists. If you have a surplus, please return it to us, free-of-charge, by sending it back in one of our Standard Return Envelopes. We will be happy to re-use it.
Never knew that I will start folding and sending them back then.ok...so todays "just for fun" challenge could be...how many smarts can you fit into a smart return envelope and still be able to seal it......!!!!
More importantly how many can you fit in and get it sealed and still be able to get it in the slot on the postbox without having to hand it over.0 -

I completed one recently which gave the 5-week period in the original notification/invitation but provided only 3 weeks for data entry.
Ahhh! Thanks.
I just had an email through to say incentive for unaddressed mail for the 3 weeks over beginning of July is being processed0 -
First time this has happened to me, but I've received an item (large brown envelope) with a smart but no 'R' number. Whoever has posted it has forgot to apply the sticker to the sheet of A4
I looked up FAQ on RM site and it says this, 'You will not be able to enter the details for this item or SMART. Please return the item to us and return the SMART in one of our pre-paid SMART Return Envelopes'.
It's easy enough to return the SMART, but return the item? Is there any point? And how would I go about doing that? I'd have to pay for postage gawd forbid!"...and in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make".0 -

possible options:
1 Fold the envelope and include it in with the smart in the smart return envelope?
2 put the smart in a smart envelope and put that together with the envelope (probably folded) into another (pre-used?) envelope. Sellotape another smart envelope to the outer one so that it provides the address and licence number to return it to West Bromwich.0 -
Has anyone else found that the Mail Lite envelopes they use for the 'packet' postings have gone down in quality, or is it just me being very unlucky? The week before last, one of the envelopes flap things got torn and the glue lifted when I pulled off the cover of the glue strip, this week two of them did the same. I've just received next weeks postings and one of the envelopes is split almost all the way down the side - the bubble layer is still intact, but the outer envelope hasn't been stuck down. Obviously it's not the end of the world and a little sellotape will fix it up fine for posting - I just wondered if anyone else was finding the same or if I was being sent all the dud ones!Jan NSD 4/15
