my postman leaves the packets (and the box) outside my door and my PO has a window where you can put big items through if you have already paid, skipping the queue0

Hi all
I was on the full panel for 4 years prior to the 6 month rest period and was invited back mid April. At that time I was told there would be a 6-7 week re-training period to complete prior to re-joining the main panel. I am now on the 9th week of posting the trial letters to the office. Has anyone else had such a long training period? Every week it is 1 for local post box and 1 for post office which means a car journey and seems a long training period.
Just checked and 2 more to post next week.:(0 -

If next week's are both to the same address, I'd email them quoting your panellist number and giving the dates you have been (re-)training.
They should then either move you to active membership of the panel or "rest" you again.
I assume that you received the initial "reward" stamps nine weeks ago and none after that.
I would also hope that the car journey to get to the post office is something you would do any way for other reasons and not a special trip.0 -
Retraining I think is up to seven weeks...but there sometimes is a couple of weeks without mail so that ma be where the 9 come in...
However you can check a week in advance for the type of postings you will be doing by looking on your online schedule as from monday onwards the next weeks schedule is displayed.
All I can say is once you start to send and receive mail you will almost certainly have more items that will require posting in both a post box and a post office so if its a case of you not being able to easily get to the post office or without too much expense you might find that posting panel nowadays is not for you.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Hi
My re-training lasted about 8 weeks. Email them and ask when your re-training is going to end.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
Hi
I have been on the panel for about six months now but have not received any mail to post for this week or next week and no notification to tell me I am being "rested". Is this normal or should I expect an email informing me.
Thanks0 -
This is weird – after being rested for a number of months, I received an email and phone call inviting me back to the panel, did four weeks of re-training and was then told they didn't need me anymore, then received an email to say 'We have now registered your details to our live posting panel and you will receive your first Sender Pack in the week commencing 10/06/2013', which never appeared, and I've just checked my calendar and I'm due to post four items (plus SMARTs) in the week commencing 24 June! Confused!! Will have to see if the pack turns up this week!0

I have recently come to the end of my time on the panel and prior to the end I received an email about 3 weeks before the end time to say my time was up....I also received the stamps and presentation pack in my last week of posting pack so it was clear that I was being rested
If you are still receiving mail from other panelists to log in to the system then I wouldnt worry too much about it,there are weeks I'm sure where they dont allocate mail to everyone...You'll probably find that the week after next you get 3 pages of postings!!!!
If you are worried though perhaps a phone call to the helpline might clarify the "missing" detailsfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Sounds normal to me! I got the retraining multiple times over the last 6 months, to be fobbed off afterwards each time with we're full (so why retrain me then?). But am now active again, following the last retraining in April/May at the end of which I had the usual email telling me sorry we actually don't need you, followed, two days later by one which, without any reference to the first, told me I was on, which I am. They really are complete rubbish at co-ordination (which raises obvious concerns for the survey results!) but I've become immune to it now - just get on with it if I'm on, and keep on retraining every time they ask when I'm not.0
