I've had an email telling me to look out for a specific magazine I will shortly start receiving and will need to log.
Which would have been helpful advice, had I not started receiving it about 3 weeks ago. Luckily, courtesy of this thread, I was expecting the weird and wonderful, so it didn't come as a total surprise.

another quick question, i've got some packets to send with smarts. they have a bunch of paper as well as the one to stick the r number on and a folded piece of brown cardboard.

I now which smarts to include etc, but do they go into the packet loose or am i supposed to try and put them in this brown cardboard? they don't fit properly in it so is that maybe just padding, i assume i do keep it in the packet when I send. I can't find the cardboard mentioned anywhere in the faq or training info.

thanks muchly for answering another silly newbie question :-)

all the bits in the envelope are to add weight to the packet and padding....just slot your smart into the envelope and attach the r number to the first sheet of paper where indicated.

basically the envelopes need to be at least a certain weight and thickness to cover the postage cost....the paper adds weight and the cardboard is the extra thickness so dont try to flatten it down!
I have seen some people who insert the smart into the cardboard but its not necessarly for that purpose.

    Hi

It should all fit in the packet. Try cardboard, paper, smart. I sometimes put the smart in the cardboard gap. Fit it the best way you can.

Hello, I have had a look through some of the posts here but can't find the info I need.

I have had my first training stuff to be sent out on Tuesday next week, now when I log into the survey site to try and get prepared I can't access anything on the daily task bit, will that only become live on Tuesday?

Also, should I have a smart to send as all I have is a white envelope inside which is an a4 piece of paper telling the receiver to retain the smart, but I won't be sending one?

And lastly (sorry, I will try not to ask too many questions!), do I stick the information labels on that piece of a4 with the R0000 number?

Many thanks. I have had a look through the FAQ's on the website but can't seem to find what I need.

    Hi

From what I remember of the retraining, I didn't have to have any smarts to send with the letters. It's only after I finished re-training when I started to receive smarts. You're fine-no smarts are needed. You'll receive to smarts when you finish your training and start to send and receive letters.

You stick the label with the r-number on rectangle with the xxs on the A4 piece of paper. It says something like place label here.

I think the pack you have received is for the Tuesday 28th May? If so this will not appear online until this Monday. You will then be able to see it online. :)

Thanks both, GetRealBabe, that totally answered those bits, thankyou.

3010, the pack includes 2 letters, 1 to be posted on Tuesday 21st and the other to be posted on Wednesday 22nd, so should I be able to access those already then?
