The postie has just put it through letter box without knocking so I haven't had to pay. Is this something TNS do or is it a mistake?.
It is definitely a mistake.
Phone or email TNS and they should be able to track who sent it from the SMART. Was there an 'R' number as well, or literally just the SMART
It hasn't happened to me, but I know others have said, that if you do have to pay for an item in these sort of circumstances, keep the proof and TNS send you an extra book of stamps to cover the costs.0 -

It was as I'd normally get with an R number and Smart. Just the stamp missing. When filling in the items received on the page where it says was postage correct I've just marked it no.0 -

It sounds like the stamp just came off in transit then. Can't do any harm just to drop them an email though, and let them know.0 -
Please can someone help me? I have received a package from Royal Mail containing 2 smarts, a padded envelope with paper, some cardboard and a piece of paper to stick a sticker on. And also a flattened box and a piece of foam like stuff. There is a posting plan too - Do I add these things onto my received items online? If so, how? And does it matter which smart I put in which package?0

Korinarose- it sounds like you need to do your training! This will explain exactly what you need to do. It's really very straight forward. You need to refer to your posting plan, it will tell you which SMART to put with which item. You need to follow the instructions, on where to put which sticky label. The paper/ foam is to pad the envelope/ box. The cardboard sleeves are to put your SMARTs inside.
Like I said- do your training and you will become much the wiserMinimalist
