The days are still jumping all over the place though. I logged 2 items for yesterday and they've shunted along to next Friday. About time they got their software sorted.
Has anyone emailed them about this and had a sensible reply?

I emailed them weeks ago, months actually, they just said they would pass it onto the IT department..

I think they should pull it off the site if they can't correct it as it's pointless/inaccurate as it is.

I signed up as interested in this eons ago and finally got a call recently to check I was still interested and this week I have received my first items to send,

I can post the first one on day and time scale they ask. I am not going to be able to post the second item in the time they ask for on the day they ask. I can either post it quite a lot of hours early or not until 2 days late, or post it from a totally different post code area.

Their FAQs seem to say it would be fine to wait until the same day (and time frame) the following week rather than post early or on a different day.
IS this correct? Should I keep both until next week or send the first one this week as per schedule?

    thanks
If you can post it on the right day, even if its early, then do so - the day is more important than the time. If you really can't post at all that day in your postcode area (your postcode area is, for example, BS for Bristol - BS1 and BS2 would both be in the BS postcode area and either would do to post an item) then post it on the same day the following week :)

I just enter the total for the week, the week totals have never moved for me (the days have, frequently, so I don't enter daily anymore) :)

if you cant post on the allotted day hold it over to the following week on the corresponding day...

Send what you can on the days you can because next week you will also get more post to send....if you keep holding it all over then it can become a little more intricate when entering the items onto the system...its not so bad when you only have one or two items a week but if you have 8 to post its best not to hold too many over

Also dont post outside your postcode area...one of the reasons you will have been chosen to participate is because of the postcode area you are in ...they cannot count your items as valid if they are posted outside of your area

I've been getting calls from an 020 number that I didn't recognise so didn't answer, then this email came today.

    "Dear Panellist,
Thank you for your continued participation within the Royal Mail Survey. This email is just to let you know that there will be a change within the activities that you complete for us, please see the attached guidelines for more information. A member of the survey team will try to give you a call within the week, to answer any questions which you may have."

I answered the next call and it was TNS to tell me that I was coming off the test runs (only been back on 2 weeks) and that I'd be sending smart cards (or something) and getting magazines instead.
So if anyones getting calls from an 020 number and it's TNS, it's a legit call.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

This weeks posting plan had three items requiring SMARTS, two of these had the SMART four letter ID and one no SMART ID, as I had several spare SMARTS in stock no problem.

Then towards the end of last week my manage SMARTS asked me to return all of my SMARTS with the exception of the two that were identified by their ID. This I did, luckily Mondays received mail had a SMART that could be allocated

Received email today saying I did not have enough SMARTS in stock for next weeks posting plan and they are going to send me some

Anyone ever received half a posting plan, letters etc to post with inserts, no labels what so ever

Finally in January I received an email and a telephone call saying I would soon be receiving magazines etc, never received a single one
