I've not long finished retraining, after 6 months break, and remember that sometimes it wasn't till midweek that the following weeks training showed up, so wouldn't worry yet.
Thank you. I thought they had sacked me before I had even began again.it does not seem aswell organised this time around.

Just checked e-mails have received this -
"Thank you for posting items for the Royal Mail Survey for the past few weeks. Due to a space being oversubscribed, we are going to pause your participation for a few weeks.
We will let you know as soon as we have found another space for you. "
I've just completed 2 weeks re-training and have more retraining post to send for this week and next week.
Have emailed them to ask if when they find me a space whether I shall have to do a further 4 weeks re-training. This is such a waste of everyone's time and extra expense for them. What a fiasco!0 -
I think the system is totally flawed. Someone (NOT the panellists;)) is receiving a lot of money presumably from Royal Mail for providing a less than efficient service. I've had to contact them several times recently with legitimate queries and either the telephone 'helpline' is unmanned or they take about 7 days to respond to an email:eek:
During my last stint on the Correctly Delivered survey I had problems on several days when items clearly addressed to me were delivered wrongly to other addresses in the village. It is only because I was at home 24/7 and saw them being put into my outside postbox later in the day by other villagers that I realised they hadn't been delivered to me by the postman. On one occasion they were put in my box about midnight on the Sunday so how long they had lain undealt with by the mistaken recipient I don't know! We are not talking about one or two wrongly delivered items, there were at least 6 on each occasion:eek:. On mentioning this to neighbours etc it appears that the same thing happens to them frequently too.
It wasn't a relief postman or anything, just the regular guy who has delivered to us for years,so if he could make so many errors I wanted it to be noted by the people who are responsible for collating the data we enter efficiently and accurately.
I eventually received a response from the compamy and they said basically they were'nt interested in the problem and were just monitoring other people's post that is wrongly delivered to a panellist.
I felt the whole monitoring system was a waste of time and have signed myself off from doing it again.0 -
I'm thinking of doing so too, I get conflicting instructions & they are really difficult to get hold of & unhelpful when I try to sort it out.
How often are you supposed to get 'rewards'? Seems ages since I did; I don't think this is worth the hassle.0 -
My experience doing this hasn't been too bad.
Have just received my final pack for posting before being rested. It contains the first box that I have been requested to post during this period. Only one box received during the posting time.
I have averaged between 3 to 5 items to be posted each week, not as many as some people, usually four.
Have not needed to make many email enquiries, and last one was answered within the same day.
With the new items for posting there seems to be a mix up of Smarts, as the ones I have in stock can't be entered on the system, however, may receive suitable ones later on.
Have received double first-class stamps and stamps for parcels, also a set of Commemorative stamps as reward.
All in all, it's been a positive experience.0 -

You should get stamps once each month. When I was active I found it useful to keep a note of which weekly schedule they came with in case any were missed - which did happen once or twice over the years.
You always need to check the envelopes properly because it is very easy for them to be "lost" at the bottom of the large brown envelope.0 -
"Welcome to the Royal Mail Survey.
We have now registered your details to our live posting panel and you will receive your first Sender Pack in the week commencing 04/03/2013
You will receive an email to notify when your first pack is being prepared and despatched."
After earlier email (post on here) saying there was no space, I have received the above email welcoming me to the live postal panel!
There is certainly something very wrong at TNS. Seems to me that their staff need to have some training - I wonder what happened to the lovely Joanne who could advise you on any problem.0 -
Yes, I'm quite sure. I think this problem comes about as company panel members have not changed their stationery to reflect that this is no longer necessary.
Several years ago all test items were returned to Kantar and we used to be sent a special envelope for these returns in with our posting pack.
However they then decided that this was no longer required, so stopped sending us the large envelopes.
It's typical of the current state of things with TNS that they haven't ensured that companies change their inserts, hence adding to he general confusion
Thank you so much for that! Goodness knows why they can't explain that to people themselves.
My unaddress mail section keeps changin itself. E.g. if I put 2 on Tuesday when I next log in it will say 2 on Monday.0
