Its all been said before in various posts but heres just summary. It doesnt matter what time or local post box you post your letters in as long as you aim to do it on the correct day[checked with tns as my closed down post office is 2 miles away and my local post box is 100 yards from my house].If you havent got the relevent Smart card[or alternative listed one] ,then wait until you have and then post it[dont post without SMART if one is requested] ,even though you might be posting other future dated letters before this.Sometimes I have had to hold onto letters over a week to get Smarts I can use. If you post late the questionnaire will cover this.

Funny enough I find it ever so useful. I also keep the extra couple of stickers that are at the bottom of the sheet. This weeks stickers dont seem to stick though.

Anyone know what label code they are? I re-use the spare labels in my printer but really need the corresponding 'Avery' type code number so I can set them up in Word properly!

Hello all. I just received my first sender envelope. I have two things to send. Can somebody explain to me what "smarts" are and if I need to include them? How do I get them?
I must have deleted any email with instructions (or never received any?)!
    Thanks.

Great, thanks, I tried a few that looked similar but didn't want to waste too much printer ink trying to match them up!
  • There is another invite being sent out for a correctly delivered survey starting the end of Feb. for those interested. I got mine today.

Don't worry about Smarts just yet. If you are just getting ready to post your first items then I doubt if you will have been sent Smarts at this stage.
A Smart is a little packet that is included in some postings. It has a micro chip fitted in it. This micro chip is tracked at post depots as the letter travels through the system recording its journey. The Smart has a protective plastic wrapper, do not remove the wrapper. You will see a sticker on the Smart which has 4 large letters on it. This is the information that you will need to enter on your daily tasks page when the time comes.
All will become clear as you progress.

Today I got invited to a Royal Mail Unaddressed Mail Survey which commences on 4th February and apparently I will receive one £5 love to shop voucher.

This is the first time I have ever got one of these invites.
  • Thanks Februarycat, nice to know its not just me.

The items i need to post this week arrived today :)
