I am getting annoyed as I have always followed there plan to the letter. I enter the data the day I send or receive an item. Then today I get a message:

As a valued contributor to the Royal Mail postal survey, you will be familiar with the queries we occasionally raise with you regarding the information you have provided.

These queries often refer you to the 'SMART indicated date' to assist you when confirming, amending or rejecting the data you have entered.

The accuracy of the data we collect is vital for us to provide an effective postal service measurement and to meet regulatory requirements so we are continually looking at ways we can assist you in providing the most accurate information possible.

With this in mind, we would like to ask a few questions about how you respond to the queries we raise. Please click on the link below to take you to a very short questionnaire."

Apparently the SMART said it was delivered the day before I received it. I have not made a mistake I received it a day later than the SMART told the tracking system. Anyone else receive a messagew like this? What am I doing wrong?

I also received this email and filled in their questionnaire.

Received a further email from them stating that I'm being rested in 5 or so weeks and may be asked to do similar surveys to others, with voucher as rewards.
  • I received those 2 emails too so I do think they are general rather than aimed at specific people x

I am another newbie (started properly in December), I am quite surprised how many postings I have to do. I do no less than 7 a week, so some days I have to do a trip to the post office AND a trip to a different post box, all at different times. I also get at least 3-4 letters a day received at my home by other panellists. I am also surprised at how tight some of the windows are for posting i.e between 10am-1pm or before 10am. The one I am quite upset at though is Saturday morning before 10am so there goes my lie in!!! What do full time workers do regarding the timelines they give for posting?

    xxxx

I am currently on the 6 month rest after doing this for a few years.

I certainly never did separate trips on the same day unless it fitted in with other planned trips. As previously quoted, the most important factor is that you post on the day in your area and record your actions correctly.

If you have 2 for one day, just make one journey if that is more convenient. I know the last collection times particularly for Saturday and always ensured that the letter was posted before that time but at least you could still have a lie-in.

Don't beat yourself up about this - try to do what the schedules say but if you cannot always just be sensible but don't let it take over your life.

Just been invited back on after a couple of months break. Which is fine. Except the first posting pack is arriving one week into a three week holiday which I told them about months ago and is still showing as booked on my account details.
Obviously I'll email them, but just wondering if they'd done anything equally daft on anyone else?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Thanks for this, maybe I was following the times too strictly then:D

I was going out of my way to the post office at certain times in the pouring rain then going to a different post box a few hours later.

Is it normal to get this many to post? I get at least one a day, usually two. I am also getting up to 5 received letters to input a day, maybe it is because I am so conscientous about my postings:D

I average about 4 items to send weekly, and most days receive at least one or 2 items.
