Thank you for replying. Yes it is the one that people struggled with due to images and other things not appearing. It starts tomorrow and runs until 10th February (4 Weeks) and pays £5 L2S voucher. :)

So they've changed the payment terms then.

For those of us who were engaged for the pre-Christmas trial, we were sent L2S voucher £5 per 3-week period, £10 in all for the 6 weeks. We expected to do a final 2 weeks for which we would also be rewarded with £5 L2S voucher. Many of us kept careful notes for the final two weeks but still nothing appears on the website for us to submit.

If another survey period is beginning, perhaps they will now open the pre-Christmas weeks for us to enter details. I'm not holding my breath.

I am just wondering to all the people who is receiving stamps on their post if they can send the used stamps to me as we can recycle them in to cash, so we can send parcels of knitted /crocheted items to the neonatal units throughout the UK. I am also on the postal surveys

    Thank you xx

you mean so they can be checked for unfranked ones and used/sold on?

That's a little harsh, isn't it? Quite a serious allegation, fraud.

In any event, aren't even unfranked stamps 'marked' in some way to stop them being used twice? Isn't that a pretty basic anti-fraud measure that RM ought to be using?

Before you make a claim like this it's always wise to look at a posters previous posts/history to check if they look genuine, I susgest that you may want to remove your unfounded remark:(

Yes, I'd be very happy to do this for you shezmit, and well done on your work. :) I'll start putting all used stamps to one side and then PM you when I have a few to send on.

What do you think those 2nd hand stamps are used for?
where do you think the value comes from?

IF that's the case, why aren't RM putting some kind of marking (invisible?) onto any stamps going through their machines to stop them being used twice? Surely that's a basic anti-fraud measure?

Are there really so many unfranked stamps going through?

Used stamps are used for fundraising for charity, they are sold to be packaged for collectors, you are not being asked to give unfranked stamps, you are being asked for used franked stamps, they need to be cut from the envelope carefully leaving a stipulated amount of envelope and are then sold by the charities to be packaged for collectors, many charities do this, look here:

Or would you like to suggest that RNIB is fradulently reusing postage stamps as well?????:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • I remember Blue Peter asking people to send in their used stamps to raise money for an appeal years ago.
