Supermarkets, Superdrug, Boots, corner shops ... HTHTypical. I thought I had bought enough stamps to be MSE and last me a while, but there has been an unexpected event this week that now means I am going to need lots more stamps.
I have to go out later anyway, otherwise it wouldn't be very MSE, but any good ideas on where I might be able to grab a few more books today?0 -

Are you a member of Costco? I got mine from there.0 -
Although the Royal Mail website doesn't tell you, I think that they are out of stock of both first and second class 100 stamp sheets. If you have them in your basket it will not lrt you check out.
However, they do still have books of 12 of both varieties. Watch the postage charge though.

Costco Watford sold out, went there yesterday.
Left it late I know but didn't get paid till Friday.
Is there anywhere left where I can order online today? Preferably with discount although I suspect I've missed that boat!0 -
Thanks for the advice guys, you are all fab.
I am not near a Costco, so that one is out.
I have, however, just been on line, in case I couldn't get any from the supermarkets etc when I went out - the information on the sheets was helpful, and I fiddled around and found that 2nd class rolls are still available, as are books. I couldn't justify buying 500 1st class stamps (not MSE!) and never thought to check whether they are still available.
And of course there's no postage to pay if you buy 500 stamps.Work is not my Hobby0 -
Does anyone have a link to the bit of the Royal Mail site which allows you to buy stamps online? Try as I might, I just can't find it0

None at Sainsbury's just now but the Co-op had plenty so bought another couple of hundred 2nd class - should have enough now to keep me going for quite a while0

The royalmail site is refusing if I try to order more than 1 roll, or more than 10 books, of the same stamp. e.g
"You may only order 10 of 12 x 2nd Class Stamp Book, you've already ordered 10 item(s)"
So does anyone know how is this limit is attributed? e.g, is it per delivery address, per person, per email address, per login account, cookies, or something else? Thanks0
