EXPIRED Stock up on stamps before 30th April

Royal Mail's website is down 28/4/12 just before the biggest price increase in history.

Is this a cynical ploy to stop people being able to purchase stamps before the massive increase and therefore profiteer?

I for one definitely think so

I just tried to order a sheet of 100 2nd class stamps online but it won't let me checkout . I entered my Debit card details three times and on each occassion, I am bounced back to the payment screen.

Is anyone else still waiting fo their online order of stamps to be delivered?
On 16 April I went to my main PO to buy some second class stamps only to told they didn,t have any and I would have to buy them online ( with of course the additional postage costs).That same day I did just this and received an acknowledgement of my order.After waiting over a week I thought I had better check everything was ok,but phone calls are not answered and emails ignored.As the new prices are coming in on Monday what are the chances of my order being honoured?

I have been able to buy as many as I like in the PO in the last two weeks, right up to yesterday... my friend in Devon went to buy some the other day and was told 6 (as in 6 STAMPS) per customer!!! :eek:

Bought stamps in Superdrug and was told they are limiting customers to buying 72 stamps each

Hey? The quoted poster was not saying it was acceptable. He said it was sly as in cunning, a bit below the belt. Sorry if I have misunderstood you but your tone is a bit aggressive! chill out:cool:.

I apologise if you feel my reply is aggressive. I'm afraid you are reading the reply very differently to me perhaps the original poster could elaborate.
