All I can think is thank goodness you followed your instincts in the beginning and contacted her. She sounds like she always regretted what she did and there is no greater gift anyone can give a mother than to know that their child had a happy childhood and has grown into a rounded caring adult. Fab story0

But I am soggy eyed now, having read your updates. So so so pleased that it went so well for everyone. Your birth mother must have gone to bed a happy woman tonight. For her to know that you had a good life, with loving parents, after she had made what must have been a heartbreaking decision, will have given her an enormous sense of relief.
I look forward to hearing more of your future meetings with your new-found family.0 -

I'm sure your (adoptive) Mum and Dad are smiling down on you and would be proud and pleased for you too.

And now I have the joy of having my foster granddaughter becoming my real granddaughter. Can't ask for anything better

As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted0 -
