I would like to say how wonderful it is to have all the support I have. It goes without saying that my wonderful husband and son are supporting me (husband is coming with me tomorrow), everyone on this thread is so wonderfully supportive, my church family are praying for me (and birth mother and aunt) ,I even have support from some people I am always arguing with on Discussion Time

I really am truly blessed.

I have just stumbled on this thread (and read all of it), sitting in the office during my break, I'm a young(ish) bloke and have a large lump in my throat, heart warming stuff.

I too, hope all goes well for you, will be thinking of you. May I politely suggest that your birth mother may well get cold feet about tomorrow (older folk do with "nerves" and so on) and it might be an idea for you or your DH not to answer the phone tonight or tomorrow, but simply turn up as arranged and give her a big hug. xx

Awwww SDW - it seems so long since I first read your opening post on this thread. I am so pleased that your meeting is happening tomorrow. I really hope it goes well for all concerned, and that you have a lovely time.

I will be looking forward to an update from you as soon as you feel able to put it all down.
