Yes, I know! It's a lot of money and I left it too long.
No, I have no real desire to use a cashcard. I have sooo many cards in my purse already. I considered it but I prefer the retailer to do the discounting for me. Shop around to get the best price, yes, but pay what's on the pricetag. It's the way my brain - and purse - works best.0 -
UW reps just calling posters liars just further brings the company into disrepute, so it is a surprise to see one so easily identified by the UW chiefs come here and act like this (especially after all the reps have been warned off from posting here, and have returned under "anonymous" boardnames!)
And this comes from one of their reps happy to post here about the good customer service we can expect from uw, when elsewhere on the net he has complained bitterly to other uw reps apout the times he has experienced "fairly atrocious" service!
But not the only one that comes here and tries to convince us how "happy" he is with UW!0 -

So what your saying is if you work for UW and declare it as Nige always does, your not allowed to defend yourself if somebody posts an untruth about you? Also is it possible to back up your allegation in bold? Or is that an assumption made by you?:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Can you admit that the company you represent is one of the most expensive in the UK and for PAYG customers on average usage Utility Warehouse is THE MOST EXPENSIVE.No and no. There are other companies that are more expensive.
Probably in 99.9% of cases, The ONLY way you will get business is from customers who don't use comparison sites or rely on family/friends to tell them the WHOLE truth. How many people would you sign up if you actually told them they could save more than 20% by using a large number of alternative tariffs.

You can't really expect utility sales people to tell you that you could save x amount if you went with another company. All you can expect is to be given accurate information and have the choice to go away and make an informed decision. If a customer doesn't do this, who's fault is it? The sales person, or the customer? Why can't people take responsibilty for their own actions, they have all signed to UW through free will.
P.S Still no baby! Operation has been cancelled until tomorrow.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Good luck tomorrow, hope things are as planned :T0 -

You are not given accurate information by UW salesmen; at best you are given no information, but the majority of times it is implied, or stated, that UW are cheap for gas and electricity.
Take NigeWick's contributions - he constantly posts that his gas and electricity is the cheapest.
He stated this above "I showed my own figures earlier in this very thread."
He posted this in post#1102As posted 19/1/09 at 6:17pm by me:-
I worked out my usage for a month as shown in a previous message.
UW Gas 90p Subscription Monthly Charge £1.52 and 3.616p per kWh £19.40
Go back to 19/1/09(page 51) and there is no post by NigeWick as it has been deleted(there other posts on that date)
When I pointed that out I was told it 'is a lie'.
Every one of his posts on UW prices are disingenuous. He know full well that UW have just about the highest gas and electricity prices in UK - £hundreds more for the average customer; yet he constantly denies this and uses his example(which has been deleted) to support this - and refuses to give his consumption figures.
Yet he sells his gas and electricty to family and friends! Makes you think!!!0 -

You are ignoring the way uw reps are trained to get customers from their circle of friends and family.
Listen to that training session where reps are taught how to get round their friends not wanting to use the risky card at Sainsburys (eg because they shop elsewhere, or there's no Sainsbury store local to them). They are taught to just sell it as a way of getting discount off "supermarket shopping"!

(This one is dated 18/10/09)
You'd expect that from a stranger door knocking, but not from your "mate" from uw!
And even the "happy" keggs admitted to his colleagues how "very uneasy" he feels when selling uw energy - which he refers to as the uw having the "worst energy prices".0 -
Not late (drunken?) night (untrue) accusations which have to be apologised for in the cold light of day.
A tip: engage brain before posting (or don't post at night). Take it or leave it.
New readers should note that accusing posters of being drunk was the standard tactic of Operastar when he posted on this thread as 1carminestocky - - we have no information why, after a thousand plus posts on this thread, he stopped posting under that name.
One can assume he was so discredited using that name, that he thinks he can start anew.
We know why his trolling, using the name Carespress, has stopped - the moderator suspended the thread.
This discredited troll(the UW champion) is the man attempting, and failing, to give guidance to Kippen.0
