For the benefit of new readers, and existing UW customers, be advised that:
I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Well when posting as 1carminestocky the consumption he gave was was quite high.
When he got involved with UW he lowered the electricity consumption by a large amount in order to reduce the extra UW charged over cheaper tariffs.
When posting as Carespress he reduced the consumption even more.
Given his track record I doubt you will get any figure from his new identity of operastar that is representative. Rather like Nigewick with gas but uses virtually no gas, however 90% of very low electricity consumption at night on Economy 7.0 -
I showed my own figures earlier in this very thread..

With your bills subsidised by customers of course you pay less, no wonder you are a happy Salesman,
Seems you have no shame so do you also lend money to single parents at very high rates of interest ? I am 100% sure you could even justify that to yourself as well.0 -

Page68/127 4.2"Clause Against changing the phone or utility supplier. The tenant should have the choice of supplier although he may be required to keep the landlord informed of any change and to return the account to the original supplier at the end of the tenancy."
Thats interesting to know, I assume that landlords have some way around this though? My sister rents through a letting agent so I would assume everything was being done 'above board' but I will get her to look into it!
Would this still apply if you paid the landlord a set amount every month for your utilties? The utilities would then be in the landlords name, not the tenants, so ultimatly the tenant would have no say in who the supplier is.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Thats a little uncalled for. He is only selling utilities, he isn't a dodgy loanshark! The single parents part of your comment is a very emotive sentence! Are you in an emotive mood today,or do you think it strengthens the case against UW to assume these things about UW reps?
Also I thought you were ok with people getting commission on what they sell?:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Just to add I will be disappearing for a while in the next few days, I just want to make it clear that I haven't been banned, changed my username, banned by my employer, brainwashed by UW Reps etc etc. Don't want people to make wild assumptions about me!
I will be back soon though, so take care all!!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

The point I was trying to make is that regardless of the truth or the facts, he will ignore anything that doesn't fit his agenda. This is the man that said God wasted his time when I was created. This is the man who tried to defend such a statement and then wondered why I had a go at his disgusting lack of morals.
He cannot admitt that the company he represents is one of the most expensive in the UK and for PAYG customers on average usage Utility Warehouse is THE MOST EXPENSIVE.
sure there are people out there that may find themselves in that narrow bracket that UW is a good deal for them, but they are rare. The majority of UW customers I am sure would get a much better deal elsewhere.
It's not a salesmans job to tell people there are cheaper companies, the problem is that so many of them resort to such underhanded slight of hand deceitful tactics to get friedns and family to sign up I am forced to speak up against them. I have seen one decent UW person on here amongst so many bad ones, so I know good ones exist, I just have never met a good one in real life and from the postings here, often defending the undefendable with deceipt, do you wonder at my emotive comment.
It was emotive for a reason, people with the least power to get the best for themselves are the ones most often targetted. The rest is emotional selling, such as targetting friends and family, most often it is just pure greed.0 -

Well said!
There isn't a UW salesman on here who isn't fully aware that the gas and electricity they sell(mainly to unsuspecting, and trusting, family and friends) is just about the highest priced tariff in UK.
