I am not tied in to any contract
But you are

any reason within the first 12 months from the date we originally make this service available to you, or within 12

Some reps are only interested in signing people up without explaining things, others are very helpful.0 -
I see the 2 online fantastists are casting aspersions as to my integrity again. I suppose it prevents them from taking me on with regard to matters that are relevant to this thread. Can't blame them - if you know you are going to be embarrassed, why bother? Entirely predictable behaviour from these 2 latter day (online) Walter Mittys....
Babee card? Remember?
Why is it not relevant that you have been 1carminestocky and Carespress?
Are you ashamed of your previous contributions?
UW's very high gas and electricity prices - remember?0 -
As long as this isn't ignored! For the benefit of new readers, and existing UW customers, be advised that:
UW gas and electricity is just about the most expensive in UK and £hundreds more than the cheapest tariff - generally around 30%.
That fact can be confirmed by checking the tariffs in any comparison website or by comparing the tariffs yourself. Use the WHICH comparison website if you wish.
There is no need to listen to either side of the argument on this thread, just confirm the facts with any independent source.
As an example the average UK customer uses 20,500kWh gas and 3,300kWh electricity. In my area(Midlands) that will cost £894 with the cheapest supplier, the cheapest UW tariff is £1,199. That is £305 and 34% more expensive if you are silly enough to have UW as your gas and electricity supplier.0 -

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

You admit to coming into this thread and posting as WUM, though you failed to include that in the list of things you have been accused of.
Just posting here to cause mischief doesn't give you the rights to any respect at all, whatever your views.0 -
I pay Utility Warehouse less for my utilities than I would to any other supplier or combination of suppliers. I showed my own figures earlier in this very thread. I use the Utility Warehouse pre payment card to good effect. If I can do it, others can too.

I showed my figures and it was easy to see I would be over 25% worse off with UW.0 -
The cheap energy myth is still is being be peddled.

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and happily admit that the company's services will not be for everybody. However, the detractors here invariably state that the company can not be advantageous for anybody which is just plain wrong. If I can happily save money in a way that suits my habits taking utilities from Utility Warehouse Utility Warehouse, many others can too.The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

As operastar/1carminestocky/carespress is up to his usual tricks:

As NigeWick has already stated, just because UW is no good for you doesn't mean it is no good for others. Give us your consumption figures and area and I'll give you the %tage figure for how much more you would be paying Ebico, for instance. I believe ebico is significant here as IIRC you have claimed in the past that some of your tenants, on your recommendation, are signed up to Ebico as it's the best deal for them? Have you asked them where they do their shopping? Horses for courses...
Apart from that I think it totally disgusting that UW reps have repeatedly suggested that I should benefit personally by transferring tenants supply to a more expensive utility company.
Ebico are consistently one of the best companies for PAYG gas. as far as I now UW don't accept PAYG and if they now do, no doubt they will also be one of the most expensive companies in the UK.0
