UW reps can't really use this forum in the way keggs has (to tell us how happy he is with uw, when his posts elsewhere on the net actually say he is in fact so unhappy with the UW who he feels "offer the worst energy prices" (his words),that he confesses to being "very uneasy at offering uw energy to potential customers". (his words again)
Then expect to be given a clear run and their "wishes" granted!
And don't forget, Keggs admitted he comes here to cause a spot of bother!Originally Posted by keggs

Again Quentin

It certainly demonstrates your lack of any thought you give to other people.

For the benefit of new readers, and existing UW customers, be advised that:
UW gas and electricity is just about the most expensive in UK and £hundreds more than the cheapest tariff - generally around 30%.
That fact can be confirmed by checking the tariffs in any comparison website or by comparing the tariffs yourself. Use the WHICH comparison website if you wish.
There is no need to listen to either side of the argument on this thread, just confirm the facts with any independent source.
As an example the average UK customer uses 20,500kWh gas and 3,300kWh electricity. In my area(Midlands) that will cost £894 with the cheapest supplier, the cheapest UW tariff is £1,199. That is £305 and 34% more expensive if you are silly enough to have UW as your gas and electricity supplier.0 -
Insulting people is the sign of a worried individual..
Anyway shouldn't you be off trying to convince some poor soul that the very expensive gas from UW smells nicer than that supplied by other companies and the electricity on offer from UW is less lethal if you stick your finger in a socket ?? How else can they justify the prices they charge ??0 -

I've just checked and they work out 65% more expensive for me,which is a whopping £523
Am intrigued by the savings calculator on their website - I was expecting 'who are currently with? how many kwh do you use?' no - how old are your kids and how many bedrooms do you have! And they promised I'd save £67 on my electric. :rotfl:0 -

Hello all - once again dipping my toe in these shark-infested waters, but I wanted to know if anyone (Jannine?) has experience of what to expect from their UW representative once they get wind of a customer leaving? I believe my fuel switch is going through and so I assume I'll be hearing from him (although I haven't seen him for about 2 years...) I expect this may already have been covered so I apologise if it's going over old ground, but the length of this thread... it's a marathon0
