I got one a while back saying that Pipeline were forming an exciting partnership with an energy supplier, and then another saying that I'd been identified as someone who could save money with their new partner, and finally (after several weeks) the latest email which identifies the partner as being UW - what a let down.
In fact, come to think about it, the whole Pipeline Card thing has been a let down, but that's a discussion for another thread.
Ben Scammel now has 500,000 people who he can try to recruit as UWDC customers. That's a lot of commission for somebody but a really shoddy deal for people who signed up thinking they were going to get cheap petrol.0 -
Apparently they now tell their reps they are to tell customers that should their prices not be the cheapest, they will pricematch!
They dont claim they price match, and never have done so.In fact in a recent training event i attended the Trainer said dont phone up HO and ask if we can better the price on the tariff leaflets, because we cant.

What they tell their reps to say at training courses and what they say in internet forums needs sorting out:

Which energy company would you recommend, Quentin? The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Good luck with that one, NigeWick. To my knowledge he's been asked a few times and just ignores the question (at least it gets rid of him for a few days, though
. The ONLY time he gets involved in the Gas & Elec Forums is when he wants to spew his bile regarding UW. And there are some who label me a troll. Weird )

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
Not irrelevant in any way, shape or form. Quentin clearly believes he knows what NOT to look for in an energy company so maybe it would be useful to others if he was to give us the benefit of his experience and recommend one. We all know for a fact why he doesn't answer questions like this - because he knows full well that his company will have had many ASA adjudications.
(He's probably going to fib now and say Ebico. Then of course the uncompetitive aspect may rear its ugly head, lol). Knowing him as I do, I can see why he chickens out of this particular question.Call me Carmine....

You thinking of changing your long suffering Mum, now they don't give you any residuals from her bills? And no more membership fees for her to pay!

How truly pathetic. But, sadly, not at all surprising...Call me Carmine....
