So to repeat myself again in case you missed it. sometimes a little cheaper than the rest and sometimes a little more than the cheaper one or two companies.
In previous posts you have insisted your only reasons for posting in this thread are:I have simply come onto this forum to counter what I thought were sometimes distorted or unwarranted statements, I certainly haven't tried to advertise the company in any way
Yet you now admit that you "repeat" your misleading advertising about uw (and yet again fail to declare you are a rep).UW prices generally move in line with the cheaper 1 or 2 companies (exc those tariffs mentioned previously).
UW prices don't even attempt to stay "in line" - because separate from your tariffs every customer has to pay your club fee as an extra charge from the tariff charge for their energy consumption! This is cleverly never included in the way your tariffs are set up, and is of course not included in your "guarantee" to be "competitive" with the "big 6". (And cleverly is only spotted if you read the very small print in the guarantee wording).
And only competing on the most expensive standard tariffs makes the worthless "guarantee" even more worthless (were such a thing possible!).
Can any uw rep tell us the uw definition of the word "competitive" in the "guarantee"?0 -

Seems a little unlikely to me that a company picked up as 'The Best' by Which three times in the last six months is doing much wrong in the eyes of its customers - and it's customer opinion that counts!
Furthermore, it seems unlikely that a company regulated by both Offcom and Offgem is able to issue a "worthless" guarantee for the past five years and get away with it.
I suspect that a lot of the fire on this thread is down to folks feeling threatened by a clearly successful business model that is picking up around 10,000 new customers a month now - who, let's face it, can't all be stupid!
From another Utility Warehouse distributor!
PS For any other distributors contributing here, my advice to you, for what it's worth, is don't bother. Why waste your energy when you could be out there building your business? And with that, I'm off...0 -

Which have not picked the UW as the best.
As discussed above, a poll has been held which was grossly over-represented by UW ''customers'(I use the term loosely!!!) who even voted that they are best for price - when even the most enthusiastic UW rep will admit that they simply don't compete on price with the other companies..
Nothing to do with there being 16,600 UW reps - many who have recruited their family and friends - voting of course.
About as objective a poll as Cyprus voting for Greece in the Eurovision song contest.0 -
I loved that Greek song...Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
Nowt to do with UW in particular - all organisations can be guilty of this - but any report where five stars out of five are granted is suspect. Just as any announcement that 'we exceeded our target of answering xx.x% of our correspondence in yy minutes/days' just indicates the target is meaningless and set too low.0

Since when does "Offcom" and "Offgem" get involved with your misleading advertising?
You have spam posted elsewhere on this board:they have a guarantee (that has stood for over five years now) that they are permanently cheaper than British Gas, permanently cheaper than the Big Six electricity suppliers
Just downright lies. The guarantee is worthless because all it actually "guarantees" is that you will be competitive with the big 6. No-one from your company has been able to tell us what you mean by "compete", but you seem not bothered about using the weasel words, preferring to just lie and keep lying.
Luckily for you personally, the ASA doesn't regulate false and misleading advertising on the net. Which is probably why you are encouraged to come and do it here!
Why should MSE provide you with all this free advertising when you just abuse it?For any other distributors contributing here, my advice to you, for what it's worth, is don't bother. Why waste your energy when you could be out there building your business?
The wide world clearly has lots more gullibles for you to lie to and mislead.0 -
Has anyone else received their email from the Pipeline Card people about UW.
I got one a while back saying that Pipeline were forming an exciting partnership with an energy supplier, and then another saying that I'd been identified as someone who could save money with their new partner, and finally (after several weeks) the latest email which identifies the partner as being UW - what a let down.
In fact, come to think about it, the whole Pipeline Card thing has been a let down, but that's a discussion for another thread.0 -
Was the pipeline card not started by a Ben Scammell?

I think the uw may have reached new heights in their crusade for more agents and more customers.
Apparently they now tell their reps they are to tell customers that should their prices not be the cheapest, they will pricematch!
How could this fail to gain converts? Or is it really new depths in lying they have reached?
Anyway we won't have long to wait as it's all going to be confirmed in the morning (must have been too late to ring and get it confirmed today - the bosses who make these things up must work school hours)If we can not beat a price within the terms of our conditions then I belive we do price match
