    1) Keggs had a bad day/experience and posted about it on a forum - ONCE.
    2) Nige also discussed some 'atrocious' experience - ONCE.
    3) Your cashback card?
    4) The link in post 8702 is from 2004! Per-lease!
    5) The monotonous Spanish teachers video link...

Keggs has regularly posted in his unhappy mode:

eg. He is unhappy about uw energy
He is uneasy with the worthless guarantee
He copied and posted the uw takeover rumour he read about here and wonders if the reps have enough shares to block a takeover!!
He has the longest thread on the reps forum "Why is uw letting us down?"
He is unhappy that the £100 bonus only goes to new gullibles and that loyal gullibles lose out.

Nige didn't refer to having one "atrocious experience" (what would be the point?). He was contributing to a discussion on whether uw cs was any good, and he referred to having had "some fairly atrocious" experiences with them. Though he has subsequently tried to hide his embarassment at being exposed as having two faces regarding who he is addressing regarding cs at uw by claiming it was only the once!

The uw reps referral thread was locked forever following Mike by the sea's charity venture in 2006, not 2004!

Some people may have missed the gullible Spanish teachers, and I get requests for their video from various quarters (eg uptomyeyeballs).

In my eyes, this reply doesn't improve your 'on-line persona'.

You fail to see how sad and weak your continued insistence on visiting private UW forums makes you look. Your words with reference to Nige are strangely filled with simmering anger and are downright odious. Is that your motivation - to 'expose' people? Odd.

My apologies about the thread - you're right - it was news from as recent as 3 YEARS AGO:rotfl:

  • ...oh, and as usual, you've completely ignored repeated requests to provide sources for your allegations of 'unhappy bunnies', 'useless warehouse' and the ASA stuff. But that's you all over isn't it - all hot air and no substance.

If uw reps abuse this forum by using it for spamming/misleading/recruiting/advertising, then it's not really a valid point to call the messenger who is able to expose the deception going on as "sad and weak".

You seem pleased to be asociated with the exposure of higgins - sons. What is so different about the misleading way he does things to reps coming here regularly claiming to be very happy with uw when elsewhere they show themselves in a different light?

Doesn't all this deceitful approach reflect badly on the company, who clearly seem relaxed about it and tolerate it, aa well as all the reps!

Googling useless warehouse brings up this:

    Useless Warehouse

This is the blog for people who don't believe the hype surrounding 'The Utility Warehouse Discount Club' and who believe that (many of) their 'independent distributors' either deliberately mislead customers or mislead customers through a lack of knowledge of the utility industries.

Many of the problems come from the fact that 'independent distributors' are in many cases brainwashed by the hype surrounding this company and are dreamers searching for the next bandwagon to jump upon.

You wouldn't allow someone who had just purchased a pair of scissors (for £199.75) to cut your hair!..........so why would you buy utility products from them!

By nature of the pyramid 'type' structure of the company only the pharaohs at the top make any serious money and the minions at the bottom scrabble about misleading people in the hope of progressing up the slope

As has been mentioned before, any misuse of this board is quickly pounced upon and removed/corrected nowadays- so although you are the 'messenger who is able to expose the deception', credit 'us' with some intelligence - we are able to identify the offending posts ourselves.

I am not 'pleased' to be associated the exposure of ID's who don't adhere to the rules. I don't 'get off' on things like that - perhaps you do?

Our business will always be best carried out face-to-face, and it's my personal belief that websites are nowhere near as effective in getting our message across. Besides, like most 'normal' folk, I don't believe everything that is written on the web - there's some weirdo's on there...

    .

Good Lord! So, 'they're calling it Useless Warehouse now' is basically a blog set up 5 months ago with 3 posts which is a thinly-veiled attempt to attract distributors to a rival company by slagging off UW - IS THAT IT?! Weak and sad.

It's got a familiar ring to it, the cynicism, the vitriol...it's not you is it?! Are you promoting a new business? If we find out who owns the domain name, will we 'expose' you?

Will the links to your 'unhappy bunnies'/ASA statements be as explosive too?

You are a failed UW ID aren't you? There's no other explanation and I see you haven't acknowledged my assertion about this that I made earlier - I mean, how else could you get hold of some of the minutae about the business....?

The problem I have with Quentin is that his posts have such an explosive/headline nature to get peoples attention. Then, when you peel away to get to the facts you realise there isn't much substance, they're misleading/untrue(cashback card), or the 'news' is news from many moons ago. He carps on about deceit, but when asked to provide evidence of his allegations he often chooses to ignore the post completely. In my opinion, this is deceit.

    No.

But you aren't the first uw rep to try and paint that picture.

The reps are the ones unhappy about the way commission has changed, and the taking away of customers by uw from their newly appointed distributors, as well as the demotion of tenants and the new £200 deposits required, which virtually means no tenant will want to sign up - disappointing to the reps, as tenants have a good proportion of the gullibles in heir midst that uw aims for.

Again in the interest of balance (although it would appear any such attempts are futile in here) - the 'blog' to which Quentin refers is run specifically to:

" help landlords / letting / estate agents / councils and asylum providers. - basically anyone managing multiple domestic properties."

as an offshoot of Phoenix Energy who promote ..

    Letting Solutions

We work on behalf of letting agents and private landlords providing billing management for tenants.

.... i.e a competitor to Utility Warehouse (and who I admit are probably considerably better value than UW, particularly after UW's recent changes to introduce hefty deposits for such operations - presumably because they simply don't want such business due to past bad debt problems).

Their comments are almost certainly valid (if a little 'over the top' - perhaps some past 'falling out' is part of the story?) but ahardly represent a fair analysis of the whole market (nor a particularly active blog!), nor a groundswell of support outside that specilist area of operations (in which Utility Warehouse appear unenthusiastic about competing in).

Apologies for duplication - beating to the 'expose' by Mr Seawolf's lightening fingers !
