I want details not late night bluster and diversion. You know my region, you know my telephony needs, go get me a better deal, properly costed.
You know, I know and anyone with common sense knows, that a far better deal for you would be to keep your phone with UW and get your gas and electricity hundreds of pounds cheaper from another company.
However everyone also knows that if better deals are explained, not talking to 'Barry' in India, monthly bills, etc etc loom large in your personal perception of best deal.
So why can't you be content in the knowledge that you are happy with your deal.
As long as everyone else who reads this thread is aware of just how expensive UW gas and electricity is compared to the opposition, then it is mission accomplished.0 -

That's a no in Cardew-speak, then? A total failure on the Carmine Challenge Front (tm)...
Here's a clue to give you a better chance. If I was paying your four and a half year old fixed BG tariff for my gas and electric it would be £733 per year. Of course, you are always keen to state you are getting an unbeatable deal with this. Fine. Even though this tariff hasn't been available for years, I'm happy to accept it in the equation to give you a chance of reparing your shattered pride. That would leave me £167 to get phone line rental, unlimited broadband and 24/7 UK/international calls. £14 a month. Possible? At least have a go.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
lol,
are my questions so difficult to answer with clarity that people hope they will disappear down the pages without having to be addressed.0 -

Why do the PUWF see any time delay in answering posts as somehow 'winning' the argument? The amount of posts I read in the evening where PUWF members gloat that someone has 'ran away', or 'takes a long time' to reply is astonishing. When if fact one could be on the toilet, having a meal or may even be copulating, which I can assure you is far more interesting than reading carmine desperately scrabbling around trying to justify paying way over the odds for their energy requirements.0 -
I ask again, what is 'average'and what criteria do they hold?
Possibly an individual who doesn't base their entire annual spending requirements justifying their predilection for obsessively ringing 0870/0845 numbers all day, and their mate 'Bob' who lives on a small island of the coast of Papua New Guinea.0 -

Last try.
£733 gas and electricity.
£240 UW Broadband/phone
Total £973 - minus the £500 you apparently save on your cashcard is a Total of £473
That is cheaper than £900 is it not?0 -
However you made exactly the same claims before the introduction of the Cash Card.
