How do you know UW pay comparison sites? That's news to me.

UW's internet phone using VOIP was 'news to you'

That an Economy 7 tariff had different daytime prices was 'news to you'

It is very easy to get cashback if you are silly enough to switch to UW - all covered on this forum - but obviously 'news to you'.

The Hon Wigoder sums it up for you Keggs. :D

"We have built our business as the only Company to have successfully challenged the entrenched market position of the "Big 6" by focussing on consistently delivering the best customer service and overall value for money. This is evidenced by the recent independent market research carried out by Which? magazine, where we were rated as "Best Energy Supplier" by a significant margin compared with our competitors, and by the low churn rates we enjoy.
We do not claim to be the cheapest energy provider in isolation, but deliver significant savings to our customers through our unique "multi-utility" proposition, where customers receive a wide range of valuable benefits by using us to supplier all their utilities. We are the only Company to offer a fully integrated solution encompassing gas, electricity, fixed telephony, mobile telephony and broadband, with customers receiving just a single monthly bill for all the services being supplied to them. "

And your point? As for Which being paid by UW I will check for myself. I'm not saying you are wrong but I prefer to check myself.

You've had a lot of "news" regarding comparison sites over the last day or so!

Yesterday you posted a (wrong) answer to an enquiry about whether switching sites could sign gullibles up to uw.

Now you "learn" that uw pays commission to switching sites (including the Which? site) for getting customers signed up.

Bet they don't have to put too much into their annual budget to cover these commissions!

Here's more proof (from ukpower who not only switch to uw put pay any gullibles who use it some cashback):
We earn our income from a small referral fee if you switch to a new energy supplier using this website

See http://www.whichswitch.co.uk/cms.php?m=faq&issue_id=99&topic_id=26&sid=azA6Ojo6Ojo6OjotMTotMTowLjAwOjo6OjpuOi0xOjo6OjA6MDowOjo6bjo4Ny4xMTQuNzQuMjA5IC0gNzYwMjU0Ojo6OjowOjo6OjotMTo6LTE=&cid=&wm=-1 where which explain they have agreements in place with suppliers and receive a fee for each new contract switched to them via its switching service.

Are you saying that this not the case when someone signs up for UW.

If UW is not paying them who is ?

Hi Q

Any chance of answering my questions.

1. How many people are on the cheapest tariff?

2. What is the username you use to gain access to the NWP site?

Not surprising that The Honourable Charles is resisting any move towards regulated comparison sites that give accurate dependable information.

New readers.

UW have just about the highest Gas and Electricity prices in UK, just try any of the Comparison websites recommended by Martin to confirm the facts.

If you wish use the 'Which' comparison network and that will show exactly the same that UW have just about the highest gas and electricity prices in UK.

Which have stated the their gas and electricity is 20% more expensive than the cheapest.

However in the examples I have looked up, UW are 26% to 27% more expensive.
I thought we were getting somewhere but it seems not. There are a large number of people whose usage and other requirements will find that Utility Warehouse is not for them. I understand that. What you appear to either not to accept, or, understand, is that Utility Warehouse will be a perfect fit for many others. You quote one person and state that Utility Warehouse is expensive. Carmine quotes his own numbers and Utility Warehouse works out best value for him. I quote my numbers and include the pre payment card reduction to my bill and show that I too save money in a way that I am happy with. It follows that if two different people with different wants find best value with Utility Warehouse then many others can as well.

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

Would it be about as much as the sales budget for your Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card?

I have now explained myself to you a number of times and you have admitted to using the words >>>(It sems having 50 is a crucial level in the uw mlm/pyramid operation to trigger more monthly payments).<<< and you have not explained why you used them when they are not true. Why did you use these words?

You claim to post on this thread for altruistic reasons but refuse to post the link to your Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card. Why is that?

Why is it that when two people have shown how they save money by being Utility Warehouse customers, you continue to state that others can not save money by being a customer?

Why is it that you continue call customers of Utility Warehouse "gullibles" when you have been informed that I find it personally insulting and abusive?
