I believe that the posts you are looking for will be the ones claiming that WHICH? surveys where Utility Warehouse do well are inherently flawed.

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

The AUWF don't give up do they. Very tenacious but that's OK so am I.

Any chance of telling us your username on the NWP site Q? Just out of interest. ;)

    They do look flawed.

The problem is to do with uw reps being encouraged to sign up their friends and relations.

As each rep only has on average 9 customers, it's quite possible a high proportion of customers are friends or relatives of a rep.

So when sending in questionnaires, a higher proportion of the 90 received from uw customers are likely to come from people with either a vested interest or friendly/related to someone who does.

As opposed to the other companies customers who don't have such close relationships with a company rep.

There was no way that any such bias was removed from the survey.

And just how come the uw customers voted it so high for value for money when it's tariffs are so expensive?

Where has anyone wrote that Which? customers surveys have been abused? Please use a specific quote.

I as well as others, have pointed out that the methodology used by Which is open to abuse. It relies on members voting without any external weighting such as age, gender, race, social grouping, amongst many used by organisations such as Mori and Gallup. Do they stick an ad in The Telegraph asking readers to ring in with their voting intentions? No the don't, for one very good reason, its open to abuse.

Hi Q. I wondered where you had been. Any chance of giving me the username you use on the NWP site. I won't mention Nige as he will probably want to ask his own questions.

    Tally up to four today.

Anyway, back to those questions you are not answering.

I have now explained myself to you twice this afternoon and you have admitted to using the words >>>(It sems having 50 is a crucial level in the uw mlm/pyramid operation to trigger more monthly payments).<<< and you have not explained why you used them when they are not true. Why did you use these words?

You claim to post on this thread for altruistic reasons but refuse to post the link to your Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card. Why is that?

Why is it that when two people have shown how they save money by being Utility Warehouse customers, you continue to state that others can not save money by being a customer?

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

  • I have an alternative theory as to why Which surveys show UW in such a good light.

The astute subscribers to Which observe that UW does well in a report so they switch to UW. As time goes on and UW continue to receive consistently good reviews from Which across their whole product and service range, more astute subscribers switch to UW.

Following this logic, it is of no surprise that UW do well in Which surveys as their astute subscribers are very happy with the service(s) they receive.

This would appear to have more substance than the "friends and relatives" argument.

Anyone care to challenge this theory?

I am not the one being abused in this instance.
