Well, this is the internet after all, you could actually be a refuse collector with an over-active imagination (the hours of posting would probably fit) and I could be Bill Gates.

All the arguing yesterday is merely an entertaining (for the readership) sideshow. This is a money saving site and to stick to facts my bill from UW this month for:


Gas 285
Electric 352
Up to 24mb unlimited broadband
Phone Line Rental
ALL calls 24/7 (over 300 of the b*ggers, including some Intl ones)
FREE calls to UW CS and tech support lines etc.

...will come to the princely sum of £29. For everything shown above!

To get this price I have of course used the (what the events of yesterday have surely proved) unbeatable in the marketplace UW cashcard to purchase items I would ordinarily have just purchased on my bank debit card. What's not to like about this deal? As far as I can ascertain none of the detractors actually use ANY form of cashback card for their retail spend (to be fair to one he only doesn't because his missus won't let him) but, amazingly, suggest UW customers who do are in some way 'gullible'. Hmmm..interesting thought processes there.

I agree with you mate, lets stick to facts. UW would cost be £257 more over the next 12 months, which equates to a huge 19% extra. Even the UW apologists can recognise this startling fact. Here is proof, as proof is sadly lacking in many claims round here.....

To be fair to xbox he actually does want a cashback card, he's just not allowed one AFAICT not one member of the AUWF has any sort of cashback card they use to derive extra benefit from their retail spend (we have to now assume Quentin doesn't have one either after yesterday's debacle). How ironic that they believe themselves to be not only serious moneysavers but qualified enough to give advice to people who know much more about saving money than they do.

Still ignoring me carmine? I know its not nice to see your argument put to the sword, but putting me on your 'ignore' list was a little extreme.;)
