Do you think so?
I understood it was financially advantageous to have bank accounts in the currencies of countries where you have interests rather than use Sterling.
However I am sure that you could advise me, and I would be grateful for any help.
In particular I understand the jet-set(sound glamorous!) like to travel in first class on long haul flights - any ideas how they can do that cheaply?
Ah well - back in England tomorrow and I will have to see about getting a cashcard; after receiving your advice of course.
Promise you won't be hurt if I choose Quentin's card over yours;)0 -

If you find out this information from Quentin, be a good sport and let the rest of us know too?!
What job do you do Cardew, if you don't mind me asking? It sounds rather interesting (well more interesting than my job!):heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

A few words have appeared recently in Quentins self description of his motives.
- Philanthropic
- Altruistic
- Affectionate
Just wondering what others think of his motives.Quentin's Cashback Card?

But, you have not shown that a WHICH? survey has been abused. Therefore your statement has no relevance until you can prove that such abuse has occurred.
Do you really believe the sentence above? What you are saying is that we can know the consequences of a certain chain of events, but statements on this proposed coarse of events are irrelevant due to the fact that this chain has not been set it motion.
Ever heard of cause and effect? A well know scientific principle. I know that if I drop a sledge hammer on my foot it will break bones, I certainly don't need to show you the effect to know that such a course of events would result in a trip to the hospital.
Honesty nige, your thought process as a well known man with pointy ears would say 'is illogical'.0 -

Well, this is the internet after all, you could actually be a refuse collector with an over-active imagination (the hours of posting would probably fit) and I could be Bill Gates.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the first time you've actually mentioned Quentin's phantom cashback card? :eek:Call me Carmine....

All the arguing yesterday is merely an entertaining (for the readership) sideshow. This is a money saving site and to stick to facts my bill from UW this month for:
Gas 285
Electric 352
Up to 24mb unlimited broadband
Phone Line Rental
ALL calls 24/7 (over 300 of the b*ggers, including some Intl ones)
FREE calls to UW CS and tech support lines etc.
...will come to the princely sum of £29. For everything shown above!
To get this price I have of course used the (what the events of yesterday have surely proved) unbeatable in the marketplace UW cashcard to purchase items I would ordinarily have just purchased on my bank debit card. What's not to like about this deal? As far as I can ascertain none of the detractors actually use ANY form of cashback card for their retail spend (to be fair to one he only doesn't because his missus won't let him) but, amazingly, suggest UW customers who do are in some way 'gullible'. Hmmm..interesting thought processes there.Call me Carmine....

I agree with you mate, lets stick to facts. UW would cost be £257 more over the next 12 months,
good for you! I generated £58 cashback last month using my suppliers cashback card, how about you?

To be fair to xbox he actually does want a cashback card, he's just not allowed oneAFAICT not one member of the AUWF has any sort of cashback card they use to derive extra benefit from their retail spend (we have to now assume Quentin doesn't have one either after yesterday's debacle). How ironic that they believe themselves to be not only serious moneysavers but qualified enough to give advice to people who know much more about saving money than they do.

Still ignoring me carmine? I know its not nice to see your argument put to the sword, but putting me on your 'ignore' list was a little extreme.;)0
