But, you have not shown that a WHICH? survey has been abused. Therefore your statement has no relevance until you can prove that such abuse has occurred. It's a bit like Quentin's assertion that he has a cashback card that saves people more money than the Utility Warehouse pre payment card. It has no relevance to this thread unless he provides proof that it actually exists.

I did ask Quentin yesterday for any information he had on another cashback card but he has not responded. I would be interested in looking at this mystery cashback card, seems a little odd that this is a moneysaving forum and he won't share the details of this wonderful card. Hmm I wonder why?!

Just out of interest I wonder how much cashback the anti UW folk have received this month? I wonder if its as much as me? As they are the experts on money saving and I'm just a guillable, I imagine they must all be using one?

    Jannine, not you too?

UW distributors, Carmine and now you are the only ones mentioning this.
Non one has harrassed any of you for making mistakes (or as eyeballs would call it - libell).

The fact that it is only Pro-UW posters that bring this up suggests that they have no better argument than ignoring UW entirely and focussing on a single comment from months ago.

Does that make UW seem like a strong proposition?

We could equally go on about Vinny lying about UW's competitor's discounts, or Carmine comparing unrelated things to make UW look good, or saying that his tariff price was the same as a 5 year fix from BG.
UW (and any pro-arguments) would be better of if the lot of you dropped this purile crusade.

    NigeWick,

    A straight question.

Do you(even as a UW ID) honestly believe that the result of the Which customers survey on gas and electricity is unbiased?

UW come top in every category - even value. Do you not feel that WHICH pointing out they are 20% more expensive indicates that they find this 'unusual'?

No doubt you will ignore the fact that WHICH state that UW is 20% more expensive.

Pro-rata, over 5 times as many people voted for UW than BG.

A UW ID has stated that he received an email warning him in advance of the survey and urging a vote.

There are no checks that those who responded even have gas and electricity, let alone are with company X.

Such a survey, where vested interests can vote, is totally discredited and meaningless.

Do you feel that when Arthur Scargill was voted BBC Man of the Year that was an accurate reflection of BBC's listeners views?

Ditto Jean-Marie Le Pen in the French equivalent survey?

That Cyprus voting for the Greek entry in the Eurovision song contest indicates it is the best song? Terry Wogan didn't!!

Yes me too I'm afraid. Yesterday Q advised that there are other cashback cards out there, I was just interested in receiving some more information. Whats wrong with that? If i were to recommend something to somebody I would give them the full story and back up my claims. This was not a comment from months ago, this was made yesterday when Q advised me to get a cheap online tariff and an alternative cashback card. I asked for his advice, but haven't received an answer yet.

    This is not true.

I did respond to your post (even though it was laced with your sarcasm, and unnecessary personal jibes).

You obviously didn't like the reply, which explained my reasons for not answering your "question", and in the manner of NigeWick et al have ignored my reply and just have kept reposting the same question.

If you really want to compare other prepayment cards and don't know how to use the net to do this then perhaps you can enquire at your local library and see if they run any basic "introduction to the net for dummies" type courses which include how to use search engines!
  • Hahaha....Quentin not wishing to post a link to back up a 'claim'. That must mean the claim was rollocks in the first place. It was, wasn't it, Q?
    Call me Carmine....

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??

Your 'people' still working on the figures comparing UW's tariff with BG's 2010 Price Protection?
Or are you trying to quietly slide away from that comment?

What is the name of this other card then? And what personal jibes? From the person who refers to UW customers as guillables I find this rather amusing!

I am fully aware of how to use the internet thanks, but I cannot find this other card, so clearly need your help. You must know where I can find it?

  • This is the reason i got involved in this thread in the first place - my pet hate is hypocrites and the AUWF is choc full of them. You know, the people who claim UW customers taking advantage of the cashback card to get the best deal on the market are in some way 'gullible' when these very same people wouldn't know what a cashback card was if it bit them on the arris (not forgetting the vocal gamer who is so assertive/macho in cyberspace but who can't have the cashback card because his missus won't let him, lol.) Surely in your heart of hearts even you lot must recognise you make up an incredibly motley crew.

I also now laugh everytime you copy a post but painstakingly remove all mention of the cashback card (obviously this sentence will be removed if you quote me!)

So no attempt to make amends for posting that lie!

You just carry on reposting as much as you like, and you have a clear run to have the last word(s). (As many times as you like)
