Where have I said that I have a cashback card? And where have I said I haven't got a cashback card? And where have I said I have saved money using the cashback card?
You have told us here you have a card.
You have told your colleagues on the reps forum you don't have one. (And criticised uw ho for not properly answering your enquiries about the card!)
You have told us here you save money using it.
OK?0 -

Why not just apologise (not to me, to the others here).
(You first told us here about your card last October, your savings were £8/month then, and you told us you'd be getting "substantially" more when you had "got used" to using the card in "other outlets". Since then you have repeated the claim to be getting "extra discount" via the card, and you told your colleagues this month you don't yet have a card)0 -
Not been on here for a while, but just been reading back through some of the controversy here, and am amazed that this is still going!
When here previously I stated that I registered to be a UW distributor, and actually did it for a while until I decided it was not for me. The reasons for not continuing with it being
a) far too time consuming for the financial return
b) It led to very awkward situations with a few friends when customer service did not do what they were supposed to.
c) Once I got past the network marketing brainwashing exercise it all looked a bit insincere.
Looking back on the experience, I would on the still say that on the whole UW is still a very good thing for people who only want to deal with 1 company for all of their utilities, and if they do so get free calls which is something not to be sniffed at!
However, when I was introduced to the company, I was signed up for 1 service only by the distributor, who herself was training and was under the guidance of one of the area managers (called a different thing, but it's what the people higher up the chain really are).
At no point did she mention pricing and I did not think to check, but I actually signed up to a dearer service than the one I was getting from Scottish Power!
I felt obligated to give her the business as she was a friend. Not a mistake I would fall into again though.
The fact that you are encouraged by the company to "stay away from pricing" as they tell you in the training says a lot about the company for me! You are not really helping your friends unless you look into it properly are you? But they do not seem to care about that, it's just a numbers game like any other sales business.
The people who promote it vigorously are the ones that have been doing it for years, basically because their chain has grown to the extent where it is worth doing so. I also got bored of dreary people telling me how fabulously rich they had become because they were there first! I am sure most of them just liked the sound of their own voices!
I believe that it is time for company to start acting professionally, and stop allowing every Tom, !!!!!! and Harry to sell energy services without knowing all of the facts involved! I think only then will they actually gain any real share of the market.
Some of the stuff I was told at the beginning also started to smell deply of fish! Don't pay for advertising!!? Are French & Saunders getting milk tokens for their time?0 -

So documentary evidence is needed for any claim on this forum?
So what 'documentary evidence is there that UW's internet phone does 'not use VOIP'?
That every single customer of Maz saved money on their gas and electricity?
That UW have the best customer service amongst the Utility companies?
That UW have been awarded Which 'Best Buy' status for their gas and electricty.
So when a disgruntled UW ID posts that he has had an email urging UW IDs to vote in the Which survey, that claim must be disregarded.
Yet keggs' patently untruthful VOIP claim is allowed?0 -

Sorry, Quentin. I never said anything of the sort about any savings I have made. Please provide the quote. And even if I did you are making assumptions about my personal circumstances.
Have you been stalking once again? Not sure how you got away with it this time.
For your information Quentin, I am a customer of UW twice over - I am a member of the residential club and business club. So whether I have a card (or not) as a business club member is my own business.
Don't make assumptions and accusations you can't truly back up. It does you no good.0 -

For someone so happy using the Quote function, you seem to shy away from using it to support your claims about Keggs...fishy?Utility Warehouse Distributor/Professional Network Marketer0 -

Eh????
As previously posted, why not save a little grace and apologise?
You know I can put up lots of quotes, which will just be even more embarassment for you.0 -

I haven't a clue what VOIP is Cardew so I will accede to your obvious greater knowledge.
All I know is that UW's internet phone uses a compatible router for the adaptor to plug into and as far as I know (unless someone can correct me) an ordinary telephone in the othe end.
Does that now make you happy.:beer:0
