I particulary like the last line of UW's caveat regarding future price changes:
Guarantees and price comparisons are based on the standard domestic usage profiles for low, medium and high users on a like-for-like basis and exclude Club membership fee, surcharge for gas customers using an Independent Gas Transporter, Dual-Fuel discounts and online tariffs. Only applies to direct debit customers. During periods when retail prices are changing, we typically announce our new prices after most of the “Big 6” have set their new prices in order to ensure our new prices are competitive and in line with our “Triple Value” guarantee. Therefore when energy prices are falling, there may be a short period before our new prices take effect when our prices may be higher than those available from certain other suppliers. The reverse will however generally be true during periods when energy prices are rising.
So last to put prices down and first to put prices up, if only more companies were so honest:T0 -

Hi Bark01, please read it again - generally last to put rices down and last to put prices up.
Since price rises have a habit of being announced 'effective immediately' and price drops tend to be announced 'effective middle/end of next month', this generally works out favourably to UW members.

"this generally works out favourably to UW members" - how come?
No wonder they are affectionately known as gullibles.
Don't you mean that if the rises are "effective immediately", but the drops aren't until possibly "end of next month", then the only members "favourably" treated will be the 10% who are also reps - as their commission stays higher for as long as possible!0 -
I could not be bothered to get all my bills out
And yet you've been asking Jim to do the same for the last how many months?
Based on that logic, just because you saved money once with 6 services but only counting the 'cash'back against two of them one month, how do we know you've ever done it again?
Did you not think your berating of Jim would come back to you?0 -

Have you seen the spanish teachers being signed up for everything by the uw rep?

You don't, but I have. As stated previously, after Carmine extolled the virtues of Sainsbugs Basics range I have bought more of them, consequently my pre payment card spend has gone up. This month's bill showed a card benefit of £26.79 against my utilities. I could have made that up but why bother?
I don't think I was "berating" Jimexbox, I was asking for information. Just like asking Quentin if he would be so kind as to provide the link to his Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card.
