Nigewick's post: It is a fact that I pay less to Utility Warehouse for my gas and electricity than I would to any other company. How do you explain that, you know, as you claim their prices are high?

I agree you have never said that exactly but you are splitting hairs. You don't have to say that in order to understand your implication. It does not nullify Nigewisck's quote to you. So on that basis please answer Nigewick.

Gosh, what an interesting few days on the old UW thread! I haven't been posting myself much as I've just found out I'm goning to be a Mummy and I've been to excited to do anything much! :T Sorry I know its going of topic abit and I will probably be accused of Spam, but I'm just so excited and can't stop telling people!

But back on subject, I'm pleased to say I've had another negative bill and UW have actually paid me! The cashback card is going to get a really hammering over the next few months, with all the baby stuff I will be buying, so hopefully my winter bills will be quite reasonable too!

Congratulations on all counts. Is it Mothercare or Boots for you?

I've just noticed you are based in Lancashire. Where about do you live?

    Hi

Yes. If you go to the UW web site and go to the members site. If you haven't joined the online bit you need your membership number. But there is a list of of all the card partner retailers plus a long list of the Prospero retailers where you can get other discounts (not CashBack)

    Hope that helps

I live near St. Helens. Debenhams are also on the list. They have 20% off at the moment on certain items I think. Not sure if they do babywear etc.

It doesn't look as if Cardew is going to answer Nigewick's question .....again. So, I think I'll watch my film.

    Thanks Steve

I shall pop into Debenhams tomorrow when I go into town. I am registered with the UW web-site but I never think to have alook at the list of shops where cashback is available, i've just had a look now and there seems to be a lot more shops than I remembered!

So that is a confession that you were telling untruths about me?

    Never mind!

What untruths would they be ?

Hmmm...how about your post comparing UWs stand alone electricity price (INCLUDING one-off annual club fee) with your DUAL-FUEL-reduced electricity price on a tariff you have been paying for over 4 years? Then taking several days of me prompting you to produce the gas usage that would complete the 'real' picture? Then the realisation that should you also take the phone line rental you would be paying less with UW than with the fixed tariff you have been paying for over 4 years. Embarrassing at best...

And your 'French & Saunders' post was not a misunderstanding, it was a 24 carat, 100% lie. Don't pretend otherwise as it does you even less favours, TBH.
