Anyhow.. I only joined this forum so that I could share my experience I had with the company UW. I'm sure there are people doing well out of it somewhere, but i'm not conviced its as great deal as I was lead to believe.

I did read a lot of the negative posts on forums before I joined but ignored them and still joined....

You are perfectly right to point out shortcomings and I commend you for that. But to generalise is not wise no should I say that I would be very dissapointed in my son if he ever suggested that I was a fool for getting involved with a business that is well run and is ethical it all its dealings even when things go wrong which they will do at times. There are around 300,000 very satisfied customers and recent survey among them said 94% would recommend the club to their friends.

I am sorry you have had a unforttunate experience but you are ina minority

I don't know why I might be that Its a brand new house or that we are on the seafront I wasn't really given an explaination. I had everything set up and ready to go all meter readings were sent in. They might be able to provide here in the future.... I don't think I will be having it though now.

Are you in Northern Ireland? As far as I'm aware, that is an area that UW can't supply energies to as they haven't been deregulated there yet.

If you are having problems with the SIM card service, have you spoken to your Dad about it to see if he can sort out your problem for you?

    What is the problem btw?

Have to mentioned this to your Dad? If he is himself unsure of the situation, all he has to do is to 'phone Executive Services and they will give him the answers. What's wrong with the SIM card?

Yes. You can get a full refund within 14 days I think it is. You can get a refund less the cost of any brochures used within 90 days.

That's the legal bit and applies to all NM companies.

Cardew, Looking at your post, it looks as though you are saying those things and not quoting. You may find it beneficial to your argument if you edit it and re-submit.

I am an Independent Distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

Thank you, I spent 5 mins trying to put the 'banter' in quotes for some reason it resisted.

I think you take my point though!

You, Mike by the sea and Avenger don't resort to abuse, and attempts to ridicule.

Youat least can argue the UW case without resorting to the insults and personal attacks and hysterical outbursts from anyone who dares to criticise UW.
